Exactly in the very early days John was entertaining for a short while but his routine quickly became boring. I'll never forget that time he bullied that tiny little boxer Carl Frampton . I have been saying this for years that John should have a muzzle put on him or have an assistant following from interview to interview to stop him damaging the Tyson Fury brand

Personally I agree with you and don't even watch any video's that contain interviews with him anymore, as he has nothing interesting to say.
Used to work at the Park Hospital in Nottingham, Carl came in all the time, whatever you read about him, he’s the nicest guy / celeb ever, even opened our radiotherapy unit free of charge, people who have met him or know him , know what a lovely man he actually is !!

Change the name from Froch on fighting to Froch with facts …. This podcast is exactly what boxing fans need because sometimes fighters talk shit and it’s hard to know what’s true and it’s good that Carl actually will say what we are all thinking 👍🏻
I've always respected Froch as a boxer but wasn't really a fan of his personality but after retirement I respect his boldness and honesty. We need more like him in boxing. 😁
A recently retired world class fighter against an old journeyman who doesn't even qualify as a has been? The only way Froch might get manhandled is if it's by the police for putting John in a coma.
I saw him in Nottingham about a week ago didn’t realise it was him until he was nearly walking into a shop. As he looked at me I realised it was him. I didn’t know if he liked to be approached. It made my day just seeing him. I could even think of anything concise to say. Absolute legend though couldn’t believe my eyes

I remember meeting Carl in Co. Mayo in 2008, it was at a Bernard Dunne fight and it was the morning after, i seen Carl talking on the phone and decided to wait to see could i get to say hello, i waited & waited n finally he hung up, he then walked straight over (he must have seen me waiting) to me with the hand out n i nearly died, we talked for at least 10 minutes & ive never forgotten it, he was such a gentleman... wish you all the best Carl
Iam a traveller, and it's common knowledge even the boxing community know his brother Peter helped Tyson more in the amateurs, glad you said this his ego has gotten out of control, real tuff men are humble and quite most of the time, even the cocky ones would not disrespect Mike Tyson that way,

Remember John fury being interviewed n some small guy innocently walks in front of the camera but apologies n fury berates him anyway like the bully he is. Agreed with everything Carl spoke about. Well said mate.
This is the most impressive and well articulated response to not just John Fury but individuals who have an opinion. Carl has demonstrated class and pose without losing his cool, which is a big weakness that most people are exposed to.

I spent sometime, in some of the worst Prisons in the U.K. serving a Mandatory Life Sentence. I was there in the Libury , when this guy, we called the Barrister, enlightend John Fury, in his Appeal. He owes that guy Ring Seats, if he ever bumps into him again. This dude, is one of the best Solicitors I have ever met. He did all that Studying & got to where he is Today.

@@pete801 I remember his early career where "the Cobra" tag was literal, he used to push his chin out to invite the punch then beat his opponent to the punch. One of the most overtly risky styles of all time. Of course he adapted later after a loss or two, but then he became the dominant fighter in his weight class. He's not thick, he's quite intelligent, but he's a wee bit naive and got took advantage of by the conspiracy nutters for a bit. He is a true World champion and nobody can take that away from him.
Out of all the English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh fighters - Carl Froch is my favourite. Always seemed to take the hard fights and grinded out some hard fought battles. The man's a modern day Gladiator.

Actually only served 4 years, for gouging a small man’s eye out 2. “I knocked out the Irish bare knuckle champion for £100K in cash”. When pressed on this, John can’t remember the mans name, or the location of the fight 3. “I’ve had over 100 bare knuckle fights on the ‘aard road”. Again, John cannot remember any of the 100 names, and there is no footage of any of these 100 bare knuckle fights 4. “I was #3 in Britain, #5 in Europe and #30 in the world”. No record of this claim can be found anywhere, the fact is John’s greatest boxing achievement is losing on points for an Area title 5. “MI5 are watching me!”. This one speaks for itself 6. Self proclaimed “gangland enforcer”. More nonsense
He may be a bit of a tool, but John Fury knows his boxing. He is fully aware what Carl Froch is all about & what he has done in the game. John Furys problem is he loves the celebrity spotlight & will say/do anything to stay within it, even if that means his actions negatively effecting his son's (look at him for the build up to Tommy's fights!!) Whatever John Fury says comes with an oceans load of salt with it.
Carl has more right and experience to comment upon Tyson Fury than most commentators. He is just saying what everyone thinks about John Fury's antics. Great impression too! Haha!

I think Tyson has/had a lot of real talent and has shown it at times. I genuinely think his comeback vs Wilder 1 and 2 look great after his binge years, but the last few years look like a man on borrowed greatness pulling the wool over peoples eyes. I know AJ has been criticised for being protected, fake, hesitant etc, but shit has he been much more active and that last fight he wasnt messing around, put Otto right out. Not a huge AJ fan either but I actually prefer him to Fury all things considered

Back when Fury fought Wilder the first time I'd have been gunning for him, but he's been so bad these last few years in his attitude, ducking fights etc. I (a brit) want Usyk to have all the belts
