@@JustTruckin this just happened to me , but the air line from the tractor coming into the chamber has a gash in it. Truck won't hold air at all. It blew out going 70mph down I75 in Byron GA. Rainy tonight aswell. Just glad I got to the shoulder. It really could have been bad,,, the truck out of nowhere started slowing down. All the way to a stop and now the brakes won't disengage. Didn't have any idea what was happening, while driving. Thankful I didn't lose control of the vehicle. Company driver so no tools on the truck, I'll be sleeping on the side of the Interstate until sunrise. My company can't "get ahold of any repair persons" to come help...... That seems quite strange but what can I do... Besides buy my own tools to prevent this in the future. I'm thinking of going ti sleep but... Pfft. I gotta stay seat belted in my driver seat until sunrise. Or someone comes
2 years later after you posted this video in this video come up a really good educator video so it's really good video to for someone in someone to know a little bit about mechanic not really mechanic but I mean to get out of the road safe so God bless you and I hope that you make another video maybe one more time thank you thank you
I'd consider doing ALL the brakes on the whole trailer soon. If ones gone bad. Then they all probably need service soon. It's worth knowing they all have the same life and use time on them.
What??? So the guy who sold me his trailer wasn't being generous by leaving 4 shiny new vice grips under there??? That explains why he changed his number... Thanks! 🤣👍
as long as the dot doesn't not stop you, most will outta service you for that, i liked the old chambers with both clamps and change the diaphram you would be better to plug the line with a 3/8 or 1/2 pipe cap or better yet follow the line up to the valve and plug the line so the line stays on the chamber, isn't standing out like the cage bolt is and cops know what to look for, i've had to do that a couple of time to get a truck off the highway
I'm getting horrible mpg on my isx2250 at like 6.2 avg...I noticed you have a boost gauge, do you by chance know the difficulty of install for a boost gauge?
Wtf are u talking about? Caging the chamber like he did is the safe way to disable it then simply remove the clamp and replace the piggyback "meaning back part of chamber" He saved himself a couple hundred bucks on road service
