Pakistan cricket team former captain and manager Intikhab alam says Shahid afridi was good cricketer but he was hyper.
Intikhab alam talking to 2nd innings says younis khan was disciplined cricketer but fellow cricketers were not happy with his attitude.

You can't just take action and ruin somebody's life on the basis of suspicion. You need irrefutable evidence to punish someone.

In my view he was a very weak as a captain, playing without any winning strategy inspite having the best players of that period. No wonder the same bunch of players under the captaincy of Mushtaq Mohammad were overnight transformed into a match winning combination. I think that before that the team was psychologically moulded to save the match and play for a draw. With Mushtaq Mohammad as captain era of taking bold decisions for result oriented games started.

Intikhab Alam used to underbowl Mushtaq Mohammad, even though the latter was a more talented right arm leg spinner. Mushtaq Mohammad could have easily ended with over 100 test wickets instead of 79.

19 منٹ کے انٹرویو میں پہلے 17 منٹ انتخاب صاحب نے کسی بھی کھلاڑی کا نام لینے سے بہت ہوشیاری کے ساتھ گریز کیا، آخری دو منٹ میں بہت ذیادہ کریدنے پر صرف یوسف، یونس اور آفریدی کا نام ان کی زبان پر آیا. ہک کرنا نہ آتا ہو تو ڈک کرنا ہی بہتر ہوتا ہے.

Intikhab Alam is establishment’s dummy person . He will never talk the truth. That is why he was kept involved with Cricket Board for so long. Intikab Alam both as Captain and Manger was 100% involved in match fixing , one way or another pretending b to look other way.

I saw pakistan in the 70,s, they were good players but not winners . Too much bureaucratic interference. Imran built the winning team in the 80,s , he had fighters in his team

Ye kahiye ke Pakistan cricket bhi Pakistani politics ki tarah ha. Yahan sub apne barre ma sochte hen. Jab 50s ma Intikhab sahab ke time se yehi hota araha ha, to koi baid nhi ke ab to or bhi hota hoga.

I am staunch follower of cricket Intikhab Alam was a big and respected name in the world of cricket. It could be possible he was victim of conspiracy n enmity. A great player n captain whose contribution had been invaluable. .
