You might not have but it doesn’t mean that there is not a segment of our population that it would effect and put an unnecessary hurdle that would make it less likely that they vote. If voter fraud doesn’t exist then why would you want to add restrictions that lowers overall voter turnout.

In South Africa everyone needs an ID to vote. Not only that you need to register to vote so that you can only vote at one voting station in your district and make sure a person does not go and vote twice or more in other districts. South Africa has over 47 million people which is about 1/6 of the USA population and is far more rugged territorially and yet they managed to get people registered and get voter ID. How American citizens tolerate their electoral system being so open to electoral fraud is really quite unbelievable.

So, since you had to prove who you were to register, it is more of a formality when voting with an ID. Who is willing to commit a felony by using someone else's registration that can be easily checked out when there becomes duplicate votes(and then one will be voided)...all of that just for one vote? This is why it has never been a problem on a big enough scale...Now, the fake electors didn't need many people...and they got caught too.

No. You need your birth certificate and a bill in your name. Not a driver’s license or photo ID. Other IDs can be used too, like a social security card, school or work ID, pay stubs, voter registration. In some cases, having someone vouch for you is okay too.

I’m 69. Born in USA. It took me four tries to get a real ID in California because I took my husbands last name in 1973 so my birth certificate didn’t work for ID, I needed a government certificate that I changed my last name when I got married. I needed a “real ID to use my medical insurance. Illegal immigrants don’t need ID to get health care. WT hell.

I work in a local government in the state of NC. It has been advertised that i can use my County Employee Badge as an ID to vote! 😂😂😂 My County ID badge reflects an abbreviation of my legal name "Mary Katherine" but I've been called Katie all my life, which my employee badge reflects. You prove you are a citizen when you register to vote, in some places you need to sign a declaration with severe penalties that you are a citizen. When you go to vote you just need give your name, and you are crossed off the list.

First let’s address voter manipulation. There is not evidence that states voter fraud is occurring and occurring at any consequential pace. Second the argument is not against voter id it’s about making it easier and more likely Americans vote or harder and unlikely for them to vote. Research has stated that things like same day voting, not holiday voting, restrictions on voting locations and voter id put a burden on individuals as you go down the economic ladder and makes it more unlikely that U.S citizens, our fellow countrymen, vote. Having ID doesn’t protect anything and lowers the participation rate.

If the only reason to get an ID, is to be able to vote, then so be it! It is not one of the most paramount (and historically supremely fought for) Rights of Citiz. in this Nation for nothing!

I live in Poland, and can't imagine that anybody will allow me to vote without showing my photo ID....and I am not talking about driving licence as a ID...we must get a ID after turning18, it'sa government ID with a number that include your date of birth!!!!....mind blowing 🤯 that still people think that anybody can vote without showing their ID to verify their identity 😱

@@IvanGonzalez-kf4lpRidiculously insecure. In South Africa you even need to register at one polling station so that a person can't vote twice or more at other polling stations. The USA is even miles behind Africa with regard to verification of their voters.

They are bs, they have my state on that map saying that Connecticut doesn't require a ID. That is a bs lie because I live in Connecticut and I have to show my ID everytime I cast my vote. I literally had to get a new ID because mine expired by 1 month. They wouldn't let me vote that year. I had to get a new ID to be able to vote in the next election. So I know that what they are saying is just lies to start up more Chaos. They didn't scream all this voter fraud stuff when Trump won. It's only when they lose. We have been voting for years before Trump and no one ever talked about this stuff before him. It's all just another way to keep the whole lie going because some people can't handle losing.

The system isn't broken, it is built this way on purpose. Everything we've ever been told is lies, deflections, obfuscations, partial/half truths. You can tell a lot by all the things a person never says. This is a battle as old as time..
