Legit Mahomes vs Herbert could be the next Kelly vs Marino. If LA gives Herbert a decent O-line and his D gets healthy, and KC gives Mahomes an improved D you're talking about KC-LAC being the next best rivalry in the league.
I’ve been a Charger fan for 15 years, and I’ve always loved Philip Rivers and enjoyed watching him play. These last four games, despite the losses, have been four of the most fun Charger games I’ve been blessed to watch, and I’m pumped to watch Air Bear play for years to come. He’s breathed life into this team that I’ve never seen from them.
It's heartbreaking, I was cheering for them to win all of the games cause they are so close yet so far away, I say that whoever is 2nd in the AFC west will make the wild card, I guarantee it.
The Chargers need to find a flat out burner at WR, I want to see how far Herbert can throw and his deep ball is already one of the best in the league..

Been a Chargers fan all 54 years of life and one thing I hope is Herbert doesn't follow Fouts and Rivers being a HOF QB with no titles !!!! O-line and greased lightening at WR and O is set !!! Injuries have killed us as well ( same problem , different year !!

Ok honestly, I feel like they are great at coaching, at least defensively. They always have really good gameplans. Shut down KC better than anyone but maybe NE. See their game where they had that brilliant have to shut down Lamar a year or 2 back. This past game they kinda shut down Kamara better than most. They just don't have the personel rn with the injuries

I'm sorry. Does Herbert play defense for The Chargers? From what I've seen, he's a rookie QB who's given his team a 3 possession lead in 5/6 games going into halftime. If he was playing safety, maybe his team wouldn't be getting burned deep in the secondary. So please try and come in with a little more intelligence. Writing poorly thoughtless comments does not enhance the way you are perceived by others. That is unless you don't mind being viewed as a person who rides the short bus through life
It’s the special teams. And the conservative play calling after getting up. Also injuries aren’t helping us. Offensive line is hurt and defensive line.

@@justgetitDLC I'm not sure about that. In the 2nd half, it sure looked like Lynn had the play sheet and was calling the plays. There was a sideline shot where Steichen seemed to be upset.
@@christopherorman5769 Shane calls the plays. Of course the coach has the play sheet! He has it for offense and defense. But the play caller is Shane not Lynn. Y’all need to research y’all information. Lynn has never called plays since being out coach. Don’t throw him under the bus for Shane’s mistakes.
@@justgetitDLC nope. Lynn rarely has the sheet. You should watch more games. Lynn takes over play calling. Whisenhunt was fired, in part, because he refused to turn over calls. Last nights second half force the run and conservative calls was all Lynn. Heck, it was a mirror of his calls as the OC in Buffalo. You should research a bit more.

I have this feeling that Coach Lynn might get fired if they continue losing games this way. They need to stop playing it safe when they have a lead and let the kid ball out!
@Johnny Cakes he had three different coaches and a different offensive coordinator for every year of the four years he was there so yea he lost a few games but he still is the best QB to come out of his class better than Tua
@Johnny Cakes I'm not exactly sure what it is that you have against Justin Herbert but it's very weird. He won more than 2/3 of his games at Oregon, 29-14 to be exact. And 7 of those losses were during his first season when Oregon was undergoing a major leadership change across the board.
This organization has got their Franchise guy. All they need to do now is to build around him. I can see Herbert playing +10 years for this organization, but it is the Chargers responsibility to make it possible. I'm talking better O-line, stronger receiving core, better secondary and of course a more accurate Kicker. The Chargers have a chance to be great, but the real question is how will they build around Justin Herbert for years to come?

Why is no one acknowledging that the chargers are hurt? Our 2 best o line guys didn't play. Derwin James and Melvin Ingram didn't play. Drue tranquil didn't play. Ekeler didn't play. Keenan Allen left early. If we were healthy we really could be undefeated atp
