I colour code the“Natural Notes” A,B,C,D,E,F,G, I colour coded
These notes GREEN; like nature, trees plants and green things etc.
The “Sharp Notes, # Notes” A#,B#,C#,D#,E#,F#,G#, I colour
coded these notes RED.
We all bleed red blood, when a sharp # blade cuts our skin
Regardless of the colour of our skin… We all bleed RED!!!
Lastly, “Flat Notes, b Notes”, I colour coded these notes as BLUE.
Jazz comes from The Blues and is very often played in the key
of Bb.
The intervals of b7 and b5 are sometimes used in The Blues.
Blue periods for Artists’ are often depicted as blue and depressing.
“The “Tritone interval” divides “The Circle”, “The Cycle 0f Fourths
and Fifths”, and “The Chromatic Scale”; which is:
A,A#,B,B#,C,C#,D,D#,E,E#,F#,G,G#. Ascending.
A,Bb,Cb,C,Db,D,Eb,Fb,F,Gb,G,Ab,A. Descending read this from
right to left.
“The Tritone” is D#/Eb and is the both the mid, or the balancing
point!!!
