my grandma... she is the most caring person for me on earth besides mother... she would laugh and bring joy to my family eventhough she is sick... give us candy whilst she could... she had a stage 4 lung cancer.. im happy for her, lots memories rather than kisses and hugs... those things may last. though i would thinking about it... its been 5 years, she told me to do well in my exam.. its okay if she is gone, she would always be in the heart ..

this is what plays when your an old fart in a nursing home. you just discover your old photo album.. you look through it. see all your friends when you were younger. you had forgotten about the day you and your buddies went to the park. little did you know that was the last day you would all play together. you had a long career with a great family. after going through the album you clear a tear from your eye and look out the window and smile.. its been a great life..
This hurts because my grandfather just passed away in a nursing home and before somone dies they become well again and that show their old self a lot and become not as sick right before they pass and my grandfather was very aware he was going to go.

I have severe separation anxiety.. and my brother is class of 2020... he was supposed to graduate this year, but since the whole world came crashing down, that didn't happen. I'm so greatfull I have more time with him, all these years he's been my best friend, and stook up for me when I needed it, and took care of me when I needed help.. I'm so glad that he's home, safe with me.. ❤️ I'm trying to spend as much time with him as possible.. and when the day comes I don't know what I'll do...
This reminds me of my grandparents. My grandma was always to the book, had the know when we were doing to do something and how. But my grandpa was her yang, he was the one who was in the Air Force, and lived all around the world. They both were divorced once before they were married. After they got married, my grandpa moved with her around the world. They lived in China for a few years, along with some other far off places. I remember some little traditional Chinese attire they sent me as a kid from China. I would wear it all the time. They were meant for each other. It was like watching two best friends. My grandpa rode a Harley Davidson up until a few years ago, but he stopped because my grandma was worried about him. They were the house that we all went to for Christmas, thanksgiving, monthly barbecues, birthdays, you name it. A big part of our family lives in the area so we would always get together. Man. It was so amazing. My grandpa was an amazing cook and he would always make barbecue. You know how everyone always debates about who’s dad does the best barbecue?? I didn’t bother because I knew my grandpa would win. They lived in the same house since I was born, so it’s always been that way. Than, a month ago my grandpa got covid. They took him to the hospital because he had had a heart surgery two weeks before, and covid attacks your heart. My grandma was at their house when her oxygen dropped as well, so we knew it was covid. She didn’t want to go to the hospital because she thought she could tough it out plus it was too expensive. Just thinking about that makes me want to laugh through the tears. Anyways, we got her admitted to the hospital along with her sister who also had it. A couple days passed. My grandpa coded about four times, but he came back everytime for my grandma. My great aunt got released. Than a week passed. They stayed in the ICU. I called my grandpa to talk, even though he could only listen at the time because he was in a semi coma and very weak. I told him to get better so we could all eat his ribs together again. The nurse told us he was nodding along which was more than they thought he could do. Than my grandpa coded two more times and basically died and came back because he was just that determined to stay. My grandma started to get better. Than my grandpas lung collapsed. I had practice, but I stayed home because my mom was super upset over it. The next morning I drive to school. While I was at a stop light my mom called. She said “come home we cleave to say goodbye to grandpa” we got there and they wouldn’t let me and my brother go inside bc we are minors. He coded while we were inside, but he held on. We went back out to the car, but by the time my mom and her sisters were almost to his room, he passed. The hardest thing was that I knew my grandma would have to find out. She was still in the ICU, but she was much better off. She was about to be moved to a rehabilitation center. We like to say that my grandpas heart wouldn’t give up, but his body did. My grandma though. A week after my gm grandpa passed, her body was determined but her heart wasn’t. She hadn’t eaten all week because she couldn’t. Her other half was gone. She passed away almost exactly a week after him. That was a week and a half ago. Man it’s been tough. They lived five minutes away and they are both fine now in a snap. They both wanted to be cremated. My grandmas urn is white, and my grandpas is black for yin and yang. I’ll see you guys soon, but goodbye for now to the best grandparents and adventures there ever were. I promise I will never be lazy grandma, and I promise I will do what I love for you grandpa. I miss you guys. I walked into their house a week ago and it was so empty. The only thing physically gone was the couch, but it just felt desolate and empty. My whole childhood gone in one week. I wish I knew what to say to him. I wish I knew how to make him feel better. I wish I could make him feel loved enough. That he’s good enough. Because he really is to me. I wish that I could take all of his hurt for my own so that maybe he could be happy because really him being happy is the only thing I want. But I can’t. And it hurts me so much that I can’t.
Tell him how you feel. Maybe he feels differently. But he’s a guy, and us guys don’t drop friendships over stuff like that. If anything, it will strengthen the friendship you already have.
I believe in you. Just keep trying, I know sometimes it feels like the world is just trying to push you down and make you feel like you can’t do anything to help anyone, but you just have to keep trying because that’s all we can do. You can do it.

I spent my entire childhood waiting, talking about how I couldn’t wait to grow up and be able to do anything. I was so excited, thinking that I wouldn’t be scared. I thought I’d be fearless and happy all the time, and I was so wrong. And now I spend my life wishing, just for one day that I could be a child again.

I've currently been dealing with a lot of stress lately due to a school project, and my teacher who's there to help me is just stressing me more, telling me that she's "doing all the work" for me while she isn't letting me think things through before answering her questions. Of course, my family is here to support and help me but thanks to this side of RU-vid, I always cry a little at these comments, and I want to thank you guys, for giving me hope that I can go through these difficult obstacles in my life, pushing me to go forward and to "see the light" at the other side of the tunnel. I am very thankful that this part of RU-vid exists in the virtue of me sometimes having these negative thoughts that I'm just another f*ckup in this life because of all the commentary I've been getting from my teachers and them thinking that "I need help" just because school stuff is stressing me out so much. But I'm okay. I don't have depression but I have massive mood swings here and there, and even my doctor told me that it's normal. I don't know, I'm ranting, but there really are those times where I'm thinking "what if...?" And all my negative thoughts come pouring out but then I step across videos like these, comments like these, and I feel like some weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I’ll never get why everything is the way it is hardest part about growing up is watching your parents getting older I don’t want to lose my mom she’s done so much for my family and still does to this day every time I ask her is she’s ok she says yes but I look at her and I know she’s tired I know she’s not ok and I wish I could help her and make her happy she deserves everything she wants time goes by and I see her getting more tired and tired weaker and weaker but she still stands up and keeps pushing she never gives up and doesn’t let anything get in her way the day she is not with us anymore I will not cry I will be glad that she can finally Rest In Peace I just wish it wouldn’t have to be that way thank you to all the mothers out there they have done so much for there families and are strong women I love you mom💙
honestly I listen to this song when I need guidance. when I look at my life and feel lost. I close my eyes and see the life I want to live, as though I'm old and it's already gone by. I see the people I want to know but don't yet, the places I want to go and the house I want to live in. the image I want my life to be when it's time for me to go. and this song just makes me know, what things I'm supposed to be chasing after.

So much pain in this world, is almost as if this world is flooded with it, everywhere you see, you can only see the horizon, and a see of pain. We travel on it, and always get to many islands, these places are the only safety we have in the mid of a huge body of water. And the boat we use to travel is the people we love. We sail here since kids, at first, tha waters are all shallow and calm, our boat is complete, without holes. There are still many islands where we can rest our souls. Then, as time goes by, the waters get more wild. Our boat begins to have holes in it. Our islands are either destroyed or completely engulfed by the ocean. As we get older, we get to see how others begin their journey. We understand we have no power to help them or to earn them of the dangers of the sea. The only thing we can do and learn to do, is to love them. To have patience with them. Not try to guide them, but become an island so they can rest. We learn to do the only thing we as humans can do to fight pain. Love. It is quite unfortunate how most of the people will learn this only when their life is already about to end. I am not old, I am young, but I understand these concept. I do not know what to do with these information. I still do not have the maturity to do so. The only thing I can tell everybody reading this,is to try to become an island. Always be nice to people. For many of us are drowning. Help others and always remember: everybody is trying not to drown.

There was a girl that I used to like back in kindergarten, and on the day we got back from an holiday I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend. Got to class and saw she wasn't there, so I just waited to see if she was just late or was sick, but in turn the teacher told the class that she moved away. I was saddened by the fact she left so quickly without a word, and now I'm sitting here thinking time sure does fly past real fast and just hoping she's out there doing fine. (yes i understand its to young to think about something serious as an actual relationship at that time but I understood what love was way before anyone at that age because my parents and grandparents would talk to me about it.)
i miss going to the park as a kid, and just running around and being so excited to be somewhere, feeling the grass, swinging, playing on the playground, i miss birthday parties, and story time, and getting up early on saturday mornings to help make breakfast, everything is so screwed up now. i wish i was a little kid again.

I was this empty shell then all of a sudden I feel every emotion in earth, I was so distraught, angry, sad, happy, and was mostly confused that I started dissociating from reality, to my friends, family and everything. I’ve loved and lost. Sometimes real, sometimes it wasn’t. But, this last time I know it was real. She was everything I’d ever wanted and everything I never knew I needed. Being in her presence made me grow everyday and I will forever be grateful for the time we shared. I can say with confidence that I have healed. The love of my life is next to me on the couch as I type these words. I met her earlier this year and now I know why it never worked with anyone else. She is the other half of my soul. Real genuine love and bonds start with the one you have with yourself. It really does get better. I know you will find peace from your pain as well, be kind to yourself. Thank you for bringing this back into my notifications so I can witness my own growth.

My dog Elsa passed away on May 6 due to a loose dog attacking her.. We’ve had her for 5 years.. she passed away 2 days before my birthday.. and 2 months before hers.. me and Elsa had a very special connection to each other. I’ve never been so close to a dog before.. we were best buds.. she was my pal..my partner in crime... she was the other half of my heart.. I loved her so much.. I was already planning out how we would take our picture on my graduation day.. I remember when we first saw her at the shelter back in 2013.. Something told me.. she’s the one... we picked her.. a 2 year old stubby legged, long bodied, happy little pup with a happy look in her eyes... I always ran home after school just to be able to come home and see her waiting at the door wagging her stubby tail so fast to the point where her body would shake with her tail.. I remember being asleep and feeling something hop on my bed, crawl under the blankets and wiggle herself into my arms.. Sometimes I forget that she’s gone... So when I hear the floor in the hallway creak I always get so excited and I call her name expecting to find a small 7 year old pup wagging her tail just waiting for me to pick her up and give her a big hug and lots of kisses just like she used to... but instead... I find an empty hallway where she once stood... She would’ve been 8 in July... it felt different not being able to sing happy birthday to her.... I cried a lot.... but I did it anyways.. I would’ve given my life for her... without a second thought... If I would’ve been there with her when she got attacked I would’ve given myself to that loose dog just so she could get away... I’d give anything just to see her one more time.... I love you Elsa... you’ll always be my partner in crime.
The grief from losing a pet is hard especialy since she was taken from you. I lost my dog of 13 years to old age a few months ago and i still miss him. Give yourself time and believe in yourself and when you cant know that i do.

At the end of the day your parents are never going to understand and neither are your friends really , it’s ok to not be ok and to feel like crap but really in 10 years time you could have a family and a house and have traveled the world , just think about all the things that are out there . And all the people who would want to share them with you . Here's what this song makes me feel... I'm crying and anxious about losing someone I love deeply. Cause when I look back at every thing we did together, I can't imagine a world without them, I genuinely don't think I would be there without them... I talk to them every single day, they're the most precious thing I have in life, my oxygen. Being someone with anxiety, I create lots of scenarios in my mind, most of them never happened, but my mind likes trying to control the unpredictable. If anyone ever felt like this, overwhelmed by the fear of losing a loved one, just remember to cherish every moment with them. Remember that this fear is also there to make you appreciate this person and not take them for granted. I just needed to write that down, I'm really tired so sorry if there's any typo, don't mind it haha. I don't know if someone needs to hear this, but if you're currently feeling lonely, or stressed out, know that somehow you'll figure it out like you did for everything that happened before. last time i commented on this video was 2 years ago, this will always be my comfort video forever, the first time i heard it i was going through many problems and reached a point of my life where i felt stuck mentally and physically as my family’s situation was getting worse day by day and so did my mental health I am happy to say that what we were scared of the most did not happen and we are now surviving :) I am very thankful for all the comfort this song brought to me, without it i would’ve had several sleepless nights note: this is the longest youtube comment i’ve ever written lol
This pandemic has changed me and my friends up so much that it hurts, 2019 group of 7 friends all hanging out at lunch having a blast, walking around school, making jokes and just getting on after school to play cod and siege in this big 10 person call, out of 7 friends remains me and my other friend, all the others have either gotten girlfriends/boyfriends who they hang out with, different friend groups or they have just moved schools. After school I'll be lucky to see 2 people on at once everyone has moved on in this short amount of time and it fr sucks :\.
