Nope, just need to make sure she's an Undine. They married human men because that's how they gained a soul of their own in Greek mythology. And if it's the Monster Girl Encyclopedia version she gives you cool water powers for giving her smexy time.

@@vanessaashford9203 Well, I don't know how that's supposed to work in the real myth, but in the MGE version she'd give you cool water powers and turn you into a succubus. So, there's that. Though you'll both go looking for a husband to share so if you're not Bi or into sharing that could be a deal breaker.

Tbfair she also had killed Johnny. She says "this is the first time in centuries I felt happy" so, what, was Johnny just chopped liver to her? I think she's supposed to seduce guys for sustenance. Whether or not she felt bad about James, idk but I kinda doubt it. She wouldn't be outside his window beaconing him, she would be leaving him alone...

@@dylanneely91 I just love all of the theorizing that takes place in the comments 😆 Yeah it could be that, or maybe she wants to finish what she started so that James can't spread the word about her. After all, she did say that most other naiads are dead, but she didn't say how they died. It could be that humans figured out ways to kill them so she doesn't want to attract the attention of possible monster hunters.

This story scarily reminds me of something scarily similar My own group of friends had my own "Rain Girl." That only would appear during downpours, she told us her name was Narina as well. Narina Chouler Hawl. 18:48 Wasn't expecting to hear her name again, don't put much stock into creepypasta. guess this one's factual. At least somewhat. 40:46 JESUS CHRIST Nothing like that ever happened to me or any of my friends Im glad I moved away when I did It strikes me that the girl in the story may be named Nerida and my association with a childhood memory may only be a fleeting one

I actually feel kind of bad for her. She didn’t seem entirely harmful like in other creepypastas. Her instincts to survive overrode any normal mindsets she may have had. Not so sure about Johnny though. It was never specified if she had known him for ages like the narrator, or if he had been a spur of the moment kill. If the dream was anything significant, they could have known each other prior, but we don’t have enough to go on.
