Always, Always too short! Always, Always enlightening! I’m watching this on the day it aired - Monday 17 - and I’ve almost spent all day on Lesson 8 of Q2 of our Adult Bible Study Guide (Lesson Quarterly), entitled Ties That Bind, that says that The Ten Commandments WERE NOT The Covenant! (Deut 4:13). The Commandments are The Law, that law provides the terms of the Covenant. Now, sister Shelly has confused me!!! 🥺 (easily done)! So, should I wait until Friday to review the 3ABN SS Lesson Panel and wait for the developments of the week to view the lesson in its totality? Or do I sneak a peek now and watch up until Monday’s presentation? Oh I’m so torn... I want to get answers. Ex 24:7 & Heb 8:8-10 are both written down in my quarterly and I shall revisit it again tomorrow! I learn so much from this programme, and I get so many supplemental questions too! I don’t normally watch this until Sabbath afternoon - The Lord has obviously steered me here for a reason! This needs to be a 2 hour programme! Truly it does! 🤗😄 Thank you all!
@@3abn Thank you! I already have it saved! I receive my weekly notification on Sundays (it was late this week)! My dilemma is, whether to watch it now, or continue with my individual study through the week as usual, and watch the Panel on Friday, as I normally do! 🤷🏾♀️ I may come to the understanding through my personal studies, by the time I study to the end of the week. If not, I can listen and study with the 3ABN Panel and be enlightened. 😊 If I STILL don’t get it, I’ll bring it up at church on Sabbath morning in my class and we can have a lively discussion (& someone can explain it to me as if I were a 6 year old 😉)! When we humble ourselves before our brethren to wash their feet as Jesus instructed, we humble ourselves before God.(Matt 25:45) None of us do these things of our own will but by the will of God. If God taught us to wash the feet of our brethren and did so Himself as an example, it is good for our souls to be obedient to God and to serve others as ourselves. That is why I would not think myself clever to figure a way around that.
@3abn when the explanation of the gift of interpretation, i wanted to clarify, if someone can speak another language and simply interprets, it's not a 'spiritual gift', right? It's just interpreting. So, what is the gift of interpretation?
The Sabbath commandment is in the heart of God's Law. It contains His seal that He is our God and Creator and is a sign between Him and His people. If we love God, we will obey all the commandments and we will keep the 7th Day Sabbath holy just as Christ kept it holy. Amen!
