RBS owned Coutts too. So, Sunak should ve very familiar share holder manipulation with banks that do catastrophic, reputation destroying activity and perhaps he can use the government owned 39% share holding to continue being an activist shareholder and do something to ensure this type of catastrophe stops happening. Sunak was not directly involved with the RBS/Abn Amro deal, but he was directly involved apparantly with other activist campaigns with other businesses...its certainly more useful to have a Prime Minsister with a bit more experience in the world than being a medicines delivery boy and bookkeeper for his mums pharmacy, as per the election campaign nonsense.
