I beleave there is most likely multiple differend species with differend interest levels on us that can do interstellar travel. If that is the case you kinda have to think that those species who are there and are in close contact have made certain type of rules and alliances. They have to have somekinda agreed upon systems in place so it's not unneccesary hostility when they come in contact with other way older species. Especially the oldest ones who would have the upperhand to reprimand would most likely have the overpowered tech and be evolutionary became smart enough to see that violence usually makes problems. I still wouldn't trust every species to be just altruistic and not take benefit from us if they can and especially need or if being conquering ones is just inherently very deep in their nature.

Great interview. Thanks to Stephen for asking such insightful questions and not being a slobbering fan boy. Thanks to Steven for being so candid and unguarded. Can’t wait for the rest of the John Williams participation.😊

Steven isn’t the only one who has theorized that UFO’s / Aliens are actually US coming back in time and just checking in on things.. it COULD explain a lot .

Oh, I bet Stephen had his writing staff on that script for weeks, if not months. It's probably a pretty good script.

Haha! "There's actually a script here!" Well done Stephen Colbert! Now that's called networking under the guise of comedy! Lol! Seriously though, would love to meet and talk to Stephen Spielberg, he's just so amazing and insightful.
