I'm also concerned that the "new canadians" are stressing our already health care system. Every time, I go to a doctors office and / or hospital... I see ppl from other countries (mostly foreign seniors and entire families. ) I am a fourth generation Canadian senior and paid taxes into our health care, and ppl just waltz into our country and get everything handed to them on our dime. They should have to pay a fee if they have never paid taxes same with CPP And OAS Just my opinion.

Our healthcare system was not built for these sudden huge new increases in our population. Another terrible strain on our medical system is the countless drug addicts who are constantly being transported by ambulance and staying in hospital taking up valuable resources, only to go out and do drugs as soon as they’re released from hospital. In BC, drug addicts can use the government funded fentanyl, crack, heroin, etc in the hospital and are blowing the smoke right into nurses’ faces. Their addict friends are allowed to bring them their drugs into hospital and no staff can interfere. Excuse me, I made an error- not “government” funded drugs, but TAXPAYER FUNDED drugs.
