It’s the only time you can wear a lot of dress styles. I really want to try on a ball gown because I’ve always wanted to wear one but I don’t think it would be the most flattering style on me so I wouldn’t wear it for my actual wedding. I have a style picked out that I love and my wedding will definitely be the only time I can wear it.

She walks down the aisle smiling a huge grin because she’s so happy to be getting married to you and then the first thing you say to her is that you hate her dress and it looks terrible? That is a huge red flag. It does not do anything except ruin what’s supposed to be the happiest day of your life. It’s not like she can even change at that point. All it achieves is hurting her.

I agree that it Isn't only the brides "big day". Do they not think the man who has proposed to them Wants to get married too? That He isn't excited and nervous and worried about what he'll look like? It's Their wedding. Not just hers.

Did you watch ever "bridezilla"? Those brides think the world was created for them and their wedding.

Of course a bride want to look beautiful for her fiance and please him. But at the same time, it would be incredibly rude of him to criticize the dress. After all, he is marrying the person, not the dress. Her personality should be what matters the most.

It’s not selfish to pick what you want to wear on your wedding day. As long as what they are wearing isn’t crazy, they have the right to wear whatever they want and it’s none of their partners business. The bride can wear what they want, and the groom can wear what they want. It’s selfish to make your partner compromise on their once in a lifetime outfit just because you don’t think they look the best in it. Let your partner wear what they want and you should be happy to see that it makes them happy.

Why do all these women think that a man has a choice in what she wears? It’s shocking to me. Do your husbands tell you what you can and cannot wear out of the house? If it’s their wedding and he loves her, I’m sure he would think she looks beautiful in whatever she walks down the aisle in. Anyone who disagrees must just be used to controlling men.

Yes! But, there are tons of people in these comments who think that her fiancé should basically get just as much say in her dress as she does. A bride is going to look beautiful regardless of which dress she wears. I’m convinced these women commenting this are in very controlling relationships where their partners have to approve their outfits before they go out somewhere together. 🙄

It was rolled up to show what the dress would look like with the lace over the skirt off. No one liked the lace. It didn't come that way. When the dress is made the lace won't be added.

I think it’s always the bride’s wishes that have to be first priority. If he’s willing to tear her down because of a dress style then he’s not worth it. At the end of the day, it’s both her and her fiancée’s day, and it’s the bride wearing the dress. If her fiancée is so set on wearing ball gowns, he can wear it himself
