Written in antiquity, its principles are held sacred by doctors to this day: treat the sick to the best of one's ability, preserve patient privacy. I was put out of a medical practice by a lying doctor who called police on me while am unknowingly in waiting calm and quiet for another doctor. This was end of day, when police arrived there were no witnesses left in waiting room, doctor came out to police saying i was violent and disruptive. Police had passed me in waiting room calm reading book waiting when doctor pointed to me.

Years ago I was in the hospital for abdominal surgery. My surgeon told me I would only be discharged after three crucial body functions occurred. Well, one evening, the doctor on call told me I was being discharged THAT evening even though those three functions had not occurred. When I mentioned this, she tried to tell me that my insurance would not pay for me to stay any longer. This was a lie as I called my insurance company immediately. Why was she so intent on discharging me? I paid extra out of my own pocket to get a private room. One of her patients just had a baby and they wanted my room. Last time I checked a medical procedure trumps delivery of a baby. The woman and baby were fine. Doctors lie. They lie often to Black people and other people of color.

The last time I went the doctor she tried to put me on blood pressure medications because my blood pressure was high that day. Now I told that fool I had an energy drink a hour before I arrived & usually I don’t have high blood pressure. She didn’t even check my blood pressure again to make sure. Anyway I told her I’m not taking any pills because I was headed to the store to buy some pomegranate juice. Pomegranate fruit naturally lowers blood pressure & clean out the arteries. He had the nerve to tell her she didn't qualify!! They sent her home and she died less than three weeks later. I have seen other RU-vid videos by nurses who have blown the whistle on the treatment of black Covid patients in a hospital in New York and one hospital in Texas. Oh, the doctor lady who died was also employed as a prison doctor, so that should tell you all about her level of professional competency. The gist of it was that while she was a doctor in Michigan caring for nursing home inmates, she ODed a patient on Warfarin(anti-clotting/blood thinner), and the patient bled out and died. It looks like she had a history of "deviating from standard protocols" and she would get sassy and combative with any nurse that tried to intervene when she was busy doing stupid, dangerous stuff. They froze her license and slapped a $50,000 fine on her. She pled poverty, whined about having over $100K in student loan debt, and she never paid the fine. Mind you, this was when she was 10 years out of residency, and she had had an entire decade of earning a doctor's salary to get her head together, and pay back her loans. After a few years, and much crying and moaning and playing the race card, they waived the fine due to "economic hardship", and they reinstated her license with training wheels on it. She then fled to Indiana, because malpractice insurance was stoopit expensive in Michigan for her, and Indiana is a tort reform state, so it would be cheaper.

Lies. Here's the real story- Morbidly obese, sacrcoidosis of the lungs, tuberculosis(yes, TB- she was a lunger), and COVID. Her complaint- "They ain't give me nuff pain piws quick enuff, and I hadda wait a few hours for a CT scan." and that was pretty much her entire problem. They didn't hand her a bucket of hillbilly heroin pills when she asked for them. Oh, the doctor lady who died was also employed as a prison doctor, so that should tell you all about her level of professional competency. The gist of it was that while she was a doctor in Michigan caring for nursing home inmates, she ODed a patient on Warfarin(anti-clotting/blood thinner), and the patient bled out and died. It looks like she had a history of "deviating from standard protocols" and she would get sassy and combative with any nurse that tried to intervene when she was busy doing stupid, dangerous stuff. They froze her license and slapped a $50,000 fine on her. She pled poverty, whined about having over $100K in student loan debt, and she never paid the fine. Mind you, this was when she was 10 years out of residency, and she had had an entire decade of earning a doctor's salary to get her head together, and pay back her loans. After a few years, and much crying and moaning and playing the race card, they waived the fine due to "economic hardship", and they reinstated her license with training wheels on it. She then fled to Indiana, because malpractice insurance was stoopit expensive in Michigan for her, and Indiana is a tort reform state, so it would be cheaper.

Her family will sue and they will lose. I expect nothing wrong was done in her case as any medical treatment is handling all patients according to their condition and not their race. It is simply not seen in the medical community. Now, we deal with transgenders who have all sort of requests and issues and they, just as anyone else, get treated with the same respect. No preferential treatment, just the same for everyone. That also goes for religions.....No difference.....All patients are equal.

I have had a few negative encounters with doctors which I’m sure had everything to do with the color of my skin. Some things you just know.

@Brian you are correct that the hospital won’t want to pay, but there are plenty of studies that show racial differences in medical treatment and so many documented cases of nonwhite medical practitioners as well as patients treated improperly in the US. This case might only have a chance due to the viral video ironically enough.

I've heard this kind of wickedness more than once. Everyone knows you should ALWAYS be wary of painful and/or swollen legs, with no obvious of injury, and take immediate action. Such evil medics. I'm happy that your wife stood her ground and has got better.

They did the same thing to mom but she had a pulmonary embolism before so I remember the main symptom....shortness of breath. So when she had shortness of breath a few years later I took my mom to the ER. They almost sent her home with medication.....I said “Hell No”. My mom was admitted that night & was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism again. The doctor told us, had she went home that night she would’ve been dead the next day. My mom ended up spending 2 weeks in the hospital. Now she is on blood thinners medication for the rest of her life, but she is alive today.
