I'm 72 years old. Been a Browns fan since the 1950's when my little brother and I used to go to the old stadium and watch Jim Brown and the other great Cleveland Browns. Fifty cents would get you into the bleachers. I loved those teams, and Bernie, and I love Baker.
Lots of respect for sticking with the Brownies... We have a big future ahead of us. I'm 38 and live in the Tampa Bay area. My parents are transfers from the Akron area and raised me to be a Dawg! Mark my words, we will have at least one Superbowl win in the near future. The NFL will erupt when Cleveland finally hoists the Lombardi!

David Scott I’ve only been to one game, and it was last years game at home vs Cincinnati. Even though we were like 0-12, the atmosphere was crazy. When we make the playoffs next year, that’s going to be something else! Go Browns!!

I liked Darnold a lot leading up to the draft and as a Browns fan I've always lowkey rooted for the Jets. His line gave him no help against the Buckeyes and he still made some of the most gorgeous throws I've ever seen in the Rose Bowl. I look forward to Baker and Sammy D duke it out over the next decade+.

I'm a mid 30 year old life long bears fan. Baker was my #1 pick in this draft.... I was so happy to see Cleveland get the pick right (according to me at least). It was damn fun watching him develop and flash moments of brilliance as a rookie. You finally got your guy. Somewhere Paul brown has a big old smile on as the kid probably reminds him of Otto, down to being the same size. Bright days lie ahead for you guys. The NFL is just more interesting when the Browns are nasty and put a foot in Pittsburgh's ass, no? To the resurrection of the pound, and to regaining the dominance that under Paul brown that almost the entire country knows nothing about. CHEERS!
I've been an OU Sooner fan since the early 80s and Mayfield has now become my all time favorite Sooner mainly because he was a walk on and came here uninvited and went from that to winning a Heisman and becoming the #1 pick in the NFL. Cowherd has a lot of great takes but he really dropped the ball on this one. Pretty hilarious that not only was Mayfield not "undraftable" he went #1 and dang near took a Cleveland team with 1 win in 2 years to the playoffs.
Baker Mayfield may not be your prototypical QB but the young man has skills and most importantly the heart of a lion. I have never been nor will be a Browns fan. That being said I feel like Cleveland is finally building toward something and the league is all the better for it. Best wishes to all Browns fans sincerely from a life long Steelers fan!

Browns have been my team since I can remember watching football in the early 80's...now let's show the league what a real rivalry is....Football back in the day didn't get any better than Browns Stealers games...
People talk shit about the Browns, doubt them, look down on them, and see them as no competition. This season changed that. There is hope behind this organization, and this team is a lot bigger than 7-8-1. Theres proof right here of it, and I guarantee that there's gonna be winning seasons for years to come with this team. Here we go Brownies!

Dudes an NFL ready QB from day one. Most ready to play QB in years. I see elite talent. The other thing about him is he isn't scared of a big hit. He will stand in make the throw and take the hit.

The heartbroken is honestly what he needed since we weren’t making playoffs. It turned out ok , ravens got knocked out in playoffs. Especially when you consider that most Hall-of-Fame QB's played during a time period when there wasn't video surveillance equipment, phone cameras/video recorders, and body cams all over the place. However, I can give you a similar example of something like this happening to a very popular QB; though he is not in the Hall (yet) + the incident wasn't caught on video (because there was no such thing as camera phones or body cams in the late 90's). None-the-less, Eli Manning was arrested for public intoxication during his red-shirt freshman season @ Ole Miss. Also, everyone who follows football has likely heard about Dan Marino's "fall" in the 1983 draft. And...true or not...Maino's draft day "slide" was due to rumors that he was a party boy @ Pitt, and had gotten into the drug scene there. Again, those were all rumors (some people even believe it was the Dolphins who were pushing them so he would fall in their laps); but where there is smoke, there is usually a bit of fire. Neither of these stories were meant to impune the character of Manning or Marino. They were only used to point out that other guys have played quarterback @ a high level in the NFL....but also had some kind of "off-the-field" issue while in college. So Collin, you asked someone to name you one quarterback....I named two !

At about 7:00, after Baker recieved the ball he popped it up as if he was handing it off. His hand fakes are one of a kind! Pay attention to the way he handles the ball on play fakes. He is like the Kyrie Irving of football!
I'm not going to lie, I was one of those Browns fans that thought Baker was going to be another Manziel. Browns fans are always skeptical with new quarterbacks and Manziel and Baker were unbelievably similar. However, this man really proved himself and he seems proud to be the one to lead the Browns out of their usual shithole. He is going to make this team one to fear.
as a person who's not a browns fan, the way I see your team is that you guys pretty much have your offense down except maybe your oline. I feel like the biggest thing you guys would need to work on is probably the back 7 excluding a few spots. I bet you guys could easily fill out almost all of your biggest holes in free agency with all your cap space. honestly, in my opinion y'all shouldn't have hope, y'all should have expectations of making the playoffs next year. you guys got a qb, rb, #1 wr with solid support, decent TE's and a mostly filled out oline. y'all should really be top 10 in offense and defense if your gm does good in FA and drafts well. I just hope you all believe you've found your kicker.
I'm gonna be honest...I didn't agree with this baker pick...but he proved he has IT... whatever IT is he has it...Dorsey made the right choice...I'll own up to my doubts and my absolute DISAGREEMENT of the pick...I didn't like it one bit..I thought my Browns had browns'd it again...another bust...but I was so far from the truth...I love the decision now...baker has EARNED my respect and Dorsey has EARNED my trust from now on...I'll still question as I should but I'll be behind them whatever happens...I love this team even more...I didn't think baker had it...but that night in the horseshoe really proved to be the true everyday baker and not a one time thing...I LOVE IT!! WERE FINALLY ON THE UP AND UP!!!

His interview with Cowherd was the beginning of making me a Baker fan. There is just something about that kid I really love. Then I tracked down everything I could find on him and went to school on BM. I really love that kid. However, it will be the first and last thing I will watch of Cowherd's. It has the feel of fingernails on a blackboard. Who exactly is he? From a psychoanalytical and a design perspective, the way he has designed his studio sets off alarms everywhere... It is almost a parody in and of itself.
A group that started the year completely disheartened, expecting nothing but another year scraping the barrel and cashing their checks... then Mayfield takes center stage and not only is he and his young cadre competing, but he infects the old guard of mercenaries and layabouts and they start fighting too... and they come so close. I think you've got a bright future with this kid. And if anyone wants to try to knock TB12 off his pedestal, I hope it's a kid like Mahomes or Mayfield.
I hope as a Cleveland Browns fan that this is only the beginning for Baker sure it was a losing season but being able to hear a city rally together like Cleveland did is something that i will hold with mw forever and makes me damn proud to be from Cleveland and damn proud to be a Cleveland Browns fan as nuts as that sounds.
He acts like he knows Baker personally. Just because something is not on video just means that. Baker is accurate, smart, quick release, and has a good arm. Exactly what a qb needs in the NFL.
Great job on the video. I'm a Cowboys fan, always will be. But, Baker has made me into a Browns fan. I watched nearly every Browns game this season. Baker Mayfield is so fun to watch, you gotta love his bravado and his freaking arm. Can't wait to start the next season and see the Browns win ten games and compete for the division.

But I stayed true to my team. And in the end isn't that what a true fan does? This year I got rewarded and it was fun to watch. I have faith there are many more years of joy to come.

I was hoping he falls to my Broncos at 5 cause in my eyes he was clearly the best qb in the draft. My friends who watched the draft with me were ridiculing me because my team didn't get the qb I hoped for, but I was really happy for him to be the number 1 pick

I really like Baker Mayfield a lot. I love what the Browns are doing and am a new fan because of what they are doing and building is obviously the beginning of something awesome and special. Once they got rid of Hue Jackson then I could see they’re headed the right direction and jump on the wagon. I’m a Lions fan 1st so I can deal with some ruff stuff but I feel like I’ll probably be able to root for The Browns more of than The Lions unless The Lions finally do something, make smart strong moves and Stafford steps his game up to that next level. He’s showed he’s got it and is right on the verge but no more time for any lateral moving anymore he needs to step up.

Im a Bears fan. I love the Bears. I dont root for any other team. EVER! I'd root for Baker Mayfield. I want my son to play QB with that kind of heart and emotion.
The five minute mark is all you need to see the perfection in Mayfield....Running right at full speed towards the sideline, stutters, continues to move right, jumps a little and throws a dart that it inches from going out of bounds and catchable by only the receiver......That is was very rare regardless of what level you are at.

For years the Cleveland Browns were a joke of a franchise, the team that other teams went to for an easy win. But with Baker Mayfield, they may have gotten the last laugh.
GO BROWNS!! My brother and I are 73 years old and want to see a Browns Super Bowl very soon (if you know what I mean). I believe the SB is rapidly approaching and this may be the year. I can't believe I am still a Browns fans after the very first two games we ever saw on TV --- 59-14 loss to Detroit in 1957 NFL Championship and 10-0 loss to New York in 1958 Eastern Division playoff. Fast forward several years and I am certain that my brother and I are only a handful of people who can say they have attended every Browns football game where a victory would have put them in the Super Bowl. At least we (unfortunately) have a perfect record --- 0-5. We have met many diehard Browns fans from all over the country. If there ever was a fanbase that deserves a SB victory it is the Browns for its loyal part in supporting the team and getting a team back to Cleveland. I've lived in Illinois my entire life and the Bear fans do not come close to the loyalty of Browns fans. GO BROWNS!!

Everyone makes mistakes. Cowherd's problem is exactly the same as the people whom he criticizes... ego. If he would have just said, "you know what, I was wrong. He's the right guy especially for Cleveland, just look at how he galvanized that team." I think everyone would forgive him. But not only did he continue to insult Baker, after it was obvious that Mayfield was the rookie of the year Cowherd tried to backtrack and say "I never said baker would be a bust." Yes, yes you did. In fact you said he was undraftable and no intelligent person should have him anywhere on their draft board. Swallow your pride Collin and just said you screwed up.
Mayfield and Manziel are completely different types of players. One is a scrambler that is skinny and looks like he works at Hallmark, and the other is a pocket passer with a great arm and is more built, similar to Russell Wilsons build.
Not handsome, not Mr. Niceguy. He has gone through some personal fire and it made him better. Its not allways the shiny and glittering ones, sometimes the ones with a little rust turn out to be much better. But most of the people buy the shiny ones. Mayfield fits perfect to Cleveland!
I love baker I think he's beast I could care less if he ran from cops any one would do it if they get drunk enough and I don't see how the position of the person matters " I woke up feeling dangerous" keep it up baker.
