My sister used to do this when we played Candyland as kids. It’s called stacking the deck. The NFL is setting up this team to be playoff contenders because they need to drum up some much needed public support to build a new stadium. That’s how I see it. It’s just too damn coincidental. They (NFL) get them to the playoffs and a franchise gets a new home field. The NFL is sports entertainment.
Don't forget about Kareem Hunt. That lighting and thunder combination between Hunt and Chubb is going to be deadly!!! And Duke Johnson's ability to catch and make plays, the Browns are stacked on offense!!
@Snap Johnson Well damn, I didnt know Duke was getting traded. I knew kareem would be suspended but I didnt know for the whole season. And I aint a browns fan 💀 Just happy to see them finally doing good!
Born/raised in Cleveland, still in Cleveland. All the hardship, the losses, the QBs, everything. Always the butt of NFL jokes and memes. It feels great sitting back and watching all this.
I agree. This is the most excited I have been since Bernie. I have been a die hard fan since I was 13 , I am 54 now. Go Browns. No more waiting till we rebuild. It is win NOW
My Grand Father was a browns fan .... My Father was a Browns fan .... I'm a Browns fan and sadly thanks to Art Model ..... my children WERE Browns fans .... ... ROT IN HELL ART !!
The feeling Browns fans have right now with their team, I'm a little jealous. I kind of went through this a couple years ago with the Rams after being garbage for 13 years straight. Although the Browns went 33 years, I'm happy for the true fans. It's so fun watching your team turn around.
@#TEAM TRUMP I actually haven't been laughing at the Browns during those 2 years. I've actually been telling people they are close to being good. They clearly had enough talent to win more games than they were. Like the Rams with Fisher, I told my friends and family the Rams had a talented team but our coaching couldn't put it together. We pretty much had the same team with Fisher as McVay and McVay turned us into one of the best in the league. I am not a brown hater or laughed at their failure, as I am one who went through a long drought myself. So no, I have been pulling for them to turn around for a few years. I was also one who was calling for them to draft Baker the entire offseason last year, but I wanted them to try Barkely at 1 and Baker at 4. But they definitely didn't miss taking Baker #1 and Ward at #4 either.
As a 52yr old fan from Lakewood Ohio (Go Rangers), I have been thru it all.Brian Sipe, Bernie Kosar and more now Baker. Never, did I give up on my team. Wear my 31 yr old Browns starter jacket EVERY day. GO BROWNS!
We now have the next Bernie Kosar with Baker. Schottenheimer with Kitchens. Chub and Hunt as the one two Mack and Byner. OBJ and Landry appearing as a slightly better Langhorn and Slaughter. Ward and Randall as the new dawgs Minnifield and Dixon. Garrett as the new Clay Mathews. Njoku as the new Blizzard of OZ. I could go on with comparisons to Perry, Pike,Baab, Rison,Camp, Golic,Hairston,Banks, Johnson. Now all we need to find is the new Gerald "Ice Cube" McNeil. Maybe Calloway or Higgens. The Browns are taking me back. This time not even Denver will stand in our way.
I agree, shades of the eighties dynasty in the making here, however, I think Baker is already better than Bernie was, Bernie was damn good, but he didn't have the physical tools that this kid has
Lifelong NINER fan and a season ticket holder, and after living in Westlake, Ohio for a couple years, I gotta say that the Browns are my squad if the NINERS aren't in it...still have friends in West and East Cleveland, Parma, Chagrin Falls, Shaker Heights, Warrensville Heights, etc etc, and if any NFL fanbase deserves to have a competitive, successful squad, it's the Dawg Pound....lookin forward to seein what Cleveland can do this upcoming season....
I'm 47 years old...born and raised in Northeast Ohio and I can tell you that as absolutely over the moon happy I was when the Cavs won, it will not EVEN begin to compare to the feelings of a Browns Super Bowl win. The Browns are our heart as far as Cleveland sports go. This time right now is the beginning of an amazing era. This video actually made me a little teary eyed. Dreams are coming true...
I live in Tennessee, I am 43 - moved here when I was 16. Browns fan for life. Being a browns fan is a lifestyle, not a fad. :) loved my browns from the time I was old enough to watch a game.
They ain't winning it this year but next year when hunt is back oh hell yeah! I'm a 9er fan but I'm rooting for this browns team hard. The team the fans deserve this hype more than any other organization. This team has been in the trash too long. Browns have my support. From a 9ers fan :)
I’m 20 years old and I’ve been a fan since I could talk. I don’t even know how to take this because I’m so shocked it’s actually happening to us. I still remember the only highlight of being a Browns fan was when we went 10-6 in 07’. Now 10-6 could a regular thing or even better... finally what comes around finally came around and I’m soaking it all in
Look man, not to be that guy but don't get your hopes up just yet. You have to admit that putting Mayfield and Beckham together is an accident waiting to happen
Born and raised in Cleveland have other teams i root for seahawks cowboys saints and steelers when there not playing browns but yeah this roster in the words of john madden....... This is UNBELIEVABLE
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. My blood is Brown and Orange. Just like everyone else from Cleveland. We are not front runners. We love the Browns even when they went 0-16 or 1-31. Now finally after all these years of sucksville we finally have a chance and we are all united as a city. Go Browns. I'm proud of my city and my team. If you don't wear Orange and Brown you don't matter. Just like Kitchens said.
To anyone that's not a Browns fan, we don't want your well wishes. We don't want to hear that Cleveland is now your 2nd favorite team. We don't want to be America's team. It's been us against the universe for decades, and now we want to stomp all over everyone who's been defecating on us year after year. You're not allowed to jump on the bandwagon and root for us, we want you to be livid when we crush you.
Couldn't agree with you more. Ive been with Cleveland since birth I'm a native N.east ohioan. This is ours we've suffed and stayed loyal. This is ours to celebrate
Speak for yourself. Born and raised... Hell my last name is Cleveland and im here to say... DON'T HATE... The more positive mojo, (karma) that we can throw at our beloved BROWNS the better. If bandwagon wants to hop on the Browns train then let them, it doesn't diminish our love and the blood we lost in our rise to relevance. Listen to Kitchen.... "If you ain't brown and Orange you don't matter"
You against the universe? Hahahahahaha. More like you against the zero. You haven't warranted anything but apathy. Perhaps a cheap convenient punchline. But you just wait. You haven't seen such an epic poop storm until you go 7-9 this season.
Dude your "take" gave me goose bumps.....This started with Baker last yr & now has become something entirely crazy. I lived thru the Bernie yrs and it was times that I will never ever forget. But; unholy hell; This Baker BROWNS team has me absolutely beside myself with anticipation & hope!.. To feel THAT kind of excitement again after ALLLLLLL these yrs; WOW.....TY for acknowledging The BROWNS!!!!!
I am from Cleveland, born and raised. I went to every Browns home game in the 1980s. I am excited about them moving forward but want to proceed with some caution. The biggest thing in the NFL that affects winning and losing, as much or more than personnel, talent, coaches, etc...is injuries. Beckham and Vernon have both had trouble staying healthy for the course of a season the past couple of years. And the Browns still have needs at safety and linebacker. Lets take this one step at a time. I want Dorsey to make more moves and continue to add depth.
I’ve been a fan since October 18th 2014. I was just getting in to football and the Browns vs Broncos was the only game on that day. I somehow became emotionally invested in that game and continued to watch their games! And finally, THE CLEVELAND BROWNS ARE GOOD!!!!
It is true. There are browns backer bars, and fans that were in hiding and ashamed to wear the colors. Ive never stopped wearing the colors but now i see alot more of the orange and brown.
Born in 1975, and have bled orange and brown since I spoke my first word. That gives you an idea of what I have seen and lived through. I'll start thinking that I am dreaming some time around mid February 2020. I love my Indians, love my Cavs, but there always has and will be something special about my Browns. This is going to be a fun ride, and it is a long time coming.
@Snap Johnson a suspension is expected, but not one for the entire season. Browns can treat him like an IR player and just wait until his suspension ends. Right in time for the playoffs.
People forget so quickly how Lebron fulfilled his promise and delivered our city a championship that put us back on the map. Hate all you want, but it was all Lebron.
@@seananthony2665 No it wasn't. It was the refs rigging the game and the players throwing because the NBA is a stage for entertainment. Cleveland fans are seriously one of the worst fanbases in the country. Delusional, unrealistic, and soft. Plus give me death threats sometimes anytime I question anything to do with there city. People who live outside of Cleveland. Never travel there for sporting events it's terrible.
I started watching the Browns in the Mid 60's and lived in Colorado during the the Drive and fumble games. So my pain is real. But my love for the Browns never wavered. And Mr. Rome you are right the Browns are Americas team.....Go Browns!
As a Browns fan since the late 60s when I was 8, yesterday was THE most exciting day in Browns history. Time to get past that AFC Championship hump - to the big, freaking game!!
I told people the Browns were bound for perennial success... may have been 2 years past my 2017 prediction but I was right. Just watch out for my Ravens!
Born in Shaker Hts, Ohio in 1957. Browns fan since 1964/65 (saw Jim Brown in his final year, Browns v Vikings @ Cleve Municipal Stadium, 10/31/65, Row X closed end. Game was featured in the '66 film "The Fortune Cookie"). In '65 we went 11-3 (better than our 10-3-1'64 Championship team), but lost to the Packers 23-12 in the last Title Game before the advent of the Super Bowl. Suffered in AGONY when Bill Nelson, Leroy Kelly (HOF), Paul Warfield (HOF), Gene Hickerson (HOF), Walter Johnson, etc, comprised elite teams from '65-'69 only to get beaten deep in the playoffs by.Packers, Vikings, Cowboys). The '70s were a nightmare. Then the 1980 Cardiac Kids. Red Right 88, The Drive, The Fumble, BottleGate (yes was there and, yes, threw my share of beer bottles into the closed end, end zone). Suffered in excruciating pain from 2000-'17. But in 2018 I saw the pieces coming together. Refs fucked us out of 2 wins vs Steelers (think Miles Garrett sacking Rothlesberger on 4th down at the 12 yrd line & getting sham Unnecessary Roughness call) and Raiders. A 7-8-1 team who should have won the AFC NORTH w/ a 9-7 record. And THAT was also w/ Tyrod Taylor (who?) playing the first 3 games. THIS year? If Bake, OBJ, Landry, Chubb, Njoku, Hunt, OLine, DLine, Denzel Ward, & role players stay relatively healthy, we win it all. Full fucking stop.
I'm not on your wagon, I'm on my wagon with all the other fans that have been there since the beginning. I was born into a browns shirt so for all the fans that have been there through thick and thin and aren't joining now, HOW ABOUT THEM BROWNS 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Band Wagon , I've been a Browns fan since Jim Brown was a rookie . My Dad would race home from Church to turn on the Radio by 1:00P.M. , it's been tough the last 25 years . Especially with the Brown Ravens winning a Super Bowl twice . Iam going to Vegas to put my money where my mouth is at 14 to 1 .
I’m from canton, Ohio . Lifelong fan , let’s see how many people are browns fans all of a sudden. A majority of people I know are Ohio state buckeye fans , and Steelers fans. Make no sense!!!! Stay off the wagon we don’t got room
Hey Rome, I jumped on the Browns' bandwagon the day they drafted Baker. I'm a lifelong Sooner fan from the Sooner state so i don't have any loyalties geographically in the NFL. And I despise the Cowgirls immensely, so I love hearing people day the Browns are the new America's team! I just might be as excited about the Browns' upcoming season as I am for the Oklahoma Sooners with new DC Alex Grinch. Playoffs and final 4 for both teams.
Love it! So Happy to be from Cleveland and still in Cleveland grinding but living a good life, now this! Dorsey, Baker,Garrett, OBJ,Juice,Haslam's..I've waited my whole life for this..Chubb..Hunt..shit everybody, its mind boggling 😅😅 thanks for this Hype speech
Browns fan since Bernie. And man, can I say that I have never been so excited during the offseason! This team has the potential to be special. We Cleveland fans are so deserving and finally.. we have something to anticipate. I'm buckled in, are YOU???
Cali they surely will have to win the majority, but come back here when the seasons done all those players have to mesh and play well together the playoffs and super bowl are desperate fans and new groupies saying dumb shit
I have been a Browns Fan since 1965 I was only 5yrs old, They have always been my Team! I live in Rochester New York and yes when they moved to Baltimore, I was Heartbroken I was without a Team! when they came Back was It was Amazing same name same Colors New Stadium, A True Fan has been through a lot no Bandwagon here it’s Time Go Dawgs 🙌
@@LL-hc3zm Lets say I was a Pats fan would you be exposing how shitty my team is or since you know that the Pats fuck down your team would you go ahead and say I was a bandwagoner, even though I was born in Boston, MA. Hmm.
I was in downtown Cleveland when the cavs won and it was crazy. I can only imagine what it’d be like if the browns won. Wow. I can’t believe we’re talking about this. #HEREWEGOBROWNIES
I love my Browns but it won't happen not with Freddie Kitchens as coach and if we don't improve are run defense NE is going to do us like they did the Rams
@@DM-rh4ev not necessarily i think you have to give Kitchens some credit and support here. you can't just write him off bc the roster is loaded with talent. he worked well with Baker last yr after Hue got fired. i think he will figure things out as CLE plays.
@@johnpestano22 being a coordinator for 8 games proves nothing to me this guy never called plays until now, and I should have confidence that he can lead a team? Absolutely not the talent on the roster will get him to the playoffs it won't win him a SB
Given how bad the Pats roster is and how weak the AFC is ya CLE could sneak into the SBowl. NFC will win it next year though CLE & KC defenses are awful.
Lol just doing this for fun see how close I get to any players actual stats but good be accurate or maybe far off for some but I do believe this will be impressive by any standard This is just off the top so maybe a little crazy but as I said just for fun And Rome I been said this too before October but I'm browns fan so yours deff carries weight good stuff Are stats for main contributers only Baker - 4200 yards 42 td 9 int Juice - 780 yards 11 tds Obj - 1200 yards 12 TDS Hunt - 750 rushing 500 receiving 7 tds 3 rushing 4 catching Chubb - 775 yards 10 tds rushing 3 catching 220 yards received Nojoku - 550 yards received 7 tds Duke Jr - 325 yards rushing 3 tds and 440 received 4 tds Myles Garrett - 19 half sacks Vernon - 9 half sacks Richardson - 5 half sacks Ogbah - 4 sacks Obijonbi - 5 n half sacks Ward - 7 int Kirksey 3 int 122 tacks 2 sacks Schobert - 2 int 101 tacks 3 sacks Avery - 77 tacks 6 sacks 1 int 13 3 record top 5 passing top 10 rushing leads league in sacks and top 7 in tos = Winning Super Bowl Ha I'm tripping lol or am I Either way go Brown's cause even when we were 1 and 31 I was riding with them driving from Buffalo with season tickets to home games so GO BROWNS I'm back in Ohio now and ready for the ride
