its because Bill Strobeck lobbied hard using his Supreme clout in order to get TJ SOTY, which is cool and makes for a great story which I guess makes sense because in every good come-up story there's always someone who is likeable yet shafted. Americans love a rag-2-riches story....

@@lisacostalbano7107 It actually goes back farther than that. Apparently in a slap interview from 2013 Puleo said he was a sample bitter because he moved to philly for skating. It took me a year to get the full story lol
