Suciu well deserved Soty. Innovative, free flowing and nonchalant style for days. The talent of skaters is unbelievable. Always great to get the Nine Clubs insight.
mark suciu had a good strategy to get soty 2021 as he released all his footage near the end so people would have a fresh thought. kyle walker had an amazing part but it was released a good few months back so people forget fast now. there is plenty of good skaters that released footage earlier this year but timing is crucial.
But also Mark released like 20 minutes of footage. Even if he didn't release it all at the end of the year, he still put out a ridiculously impressive amount of skating. What he did is outright unheard of. And its all bangers. Everyone knew there was no chance soty would go to anyone else. That shit was so well deserved.
You know when someone puts out that much edited footage and almost every trick I'm pausing just to figure out exactly what is going on, you know he's a contender
If this was all a contest, yuto would be having the highest scores, but talk about beautiful skateboarding, well put out parts, great composition, music, authentic tricks and lines. There is not even a conversation. It's Suciu
This was the last soty i agreed with. Last year should of been yuto, the year before was clearly nyjah. Tyshawn winning again was ridiculous. He wasn't even on my radar(even though hes a beast). And last year... miles is one of my favs, but it wasn't even miles best part. Yuto clearly won.
