Its parents job to care for their kids. Unfortunately too many are incapable of it and their kids are going to riots and attacking police, and half of them are causing criminal damage daily, graffitiing public spaces and services, shoplifting..... I wish these kids were cared for but their parents clearly dont care for them and its sadly not the tax payers responsibility to care for kids whos parents only had them to access their child benefit allowance..... Sadly these kids are too far gone... theyre never going to get a degree, theyre never going to start a business or work for a successful career... maybe if their parents had cared for them when they were 6 or 7 and encouraged them in school to work hard then they might have a chance.

That fifteen year old boy was just going along with the crowd he wasn't thinking about the possible consequences, no fifteen year olds ever do, I was smoking at that age and I had been since i was 12 years old, the future isn't considered at that age. This fifteen year old should have been given some hours of community service that would have been humiliating enough for punishment. I believe the UK citizens should be contacting their own MPs to express how disgusted they are, and those who were foolish enough to vote for Starmer need to apologise for their actions in getting the psychopath Starmer into number 10, they'd have been better not voting

Two tier reporting by mainstream media. We get to hear about the rioters, their age, their backgrounds, and some of their motivations.....but the media was very quiet about the prosecution of rioters who fall into certain categories - and as a result the perception was amplified that a two tier system exists in our society.

The LAW requires that all offenders be sentenced within the parameters set out in the sentencing guidelines to maintain consistency ...there is nothing which states the government can or may influence the length be increased outside of normal sentences for like for like as a political weapon......... doing so opens ground for appeal on severity of sentence and shows a 2 tier system of the justice system which if that is seen shows a corrupt government and legal system which is what you expect from a corrupt dictatorship rather than one rule for all.......... to do a comparison in sentences you only have to go back to last riots and prison terms given out to show unfair justice in place on like for like ?????
big protest yes, i don't disagree of most of what is being said ......but useing it as an excuse to '' damage, arson, riot, '' NO, no way, innocent people WILL end up being hurt or worse, on all sides...a stone to the head can do a lot of damage...and if it gest bad enough, they will need to use troops, as the police cannot handle it, and trust me, the army will not stand around taking it. ask yourself, would u be happy if someone set fire to your car for no reason!
The difference is between an individual crime ( from possibly an insane person) and social crime causing unrest and terror in the wider society by people who claim to be sane and in their senses ...don't try to label everything with race ...the judgements are made on grounds of their effects on wider society...
