You define the best word to describe Rick and Carl. Rick is a warrior who takes the punishment and fight the battles until his last breath. Carl's the peacemaker who seek an end to the violence among the living and unite as one, even the cost of his own life.
Man Carl dying , had me traumatized for a while. He was such a great character in twd. His character was so matured , kind , generous , you could say he was the real 'man' in the times of zombie apocalypse.
@@thomasmacmullan If you analyze it carefully, he never tried to kill him, he was simply trying to break Rick's spirit until he softened. The first "I will kill you" Negan tortured him until he broke him and made him submissive. The second one already tried to do the same

He has both his mother and father in him in the most beautiful way, the way he thinks and acts refelcts that perfectly, relentless and selfless, but caring and fearless.
Carl is easily my favorite character of the show. He grew so much and learned the important things of life and about family and relationships and his death hit harder than any other fictional character for me because to see him go in such a selfless and caring way was really a great send off to his character, while absolutely devastating you because of how great he truly was

I like to think that Glenn, Abraham, and Carl’s death made the show a fast burn. The show was burning bright to me because I was waiting for Negan to get what was coming to him… but after the finale I was like “now what”
Negan was a gym teacher; he loved kids. He could bond with them and talk with them so easily. It's why not killing them was meant to be one of the few rules of the Saviours. If people are a resource then children are the most valuable. But Negan dealing with adults, especially men? Not so great.

Negan really was just ready to come in and killed Rick but with Carl telling him that he’s willing to die for punishment instead really did just break through Megan’s mind

Everyone knows that both Negan and Rick loved Carl, and that Carl shouldn't have died because the doctor (I forgot his name) died anyway. We have to put up with one of the worst mistakes in this series, something that didn't happen in the comics. 😢
It was fresh watching Negan being vulnerable like this. Always cracking jokes and ruthlessly being cruel with everyone, made his fall truly satisfactory.
This scene made me realise the difference between Carl and other kids of his age....I mean just look at Carl and then Enid,Sam and his elder brother, Sophia.....they got real scared silent during their death and when an event took place but Carl.....he stood on his ground like a man even when he know that he is dying.....when he saved Sam's brother from wolves when he single handedly went on to kill negan in sanctuary.......their is only 2 person in twd universe who did what was needed to done without hesitating or without compromising their conscience.....Carl and Daryl.....Rick took so many bad decisions micchone too and others too....even Carol who seems to be perfect regrets on herself for being a killer.....but Carl and Daryl knew they were killing their own ones can live on....... The show really died after Carl's death❤

Controversial statement, I feel like Carl had his full character arc Even In the comics I don’t think he changed much or if at all after this point, just got older and lived under his own supervision

@@saadsohail3669 not here to argue either, but yes I in fact did. The Saviors were the first to provoke Rick's group by trying to rob and kill Sasha, Abraham, and Daryl on the road. Not to be rude, but how is it that so many Negan fans miss that scene or just downright ignore it? Is it because you hate Rick so much, so you side with Negan regardless of everything he's done?
@@jesseoliver6457 well you are right about that but ricks people already killed a post of negans i am not trying to defend him but yeah he said in the future that he was wrong in seasom 10 to maggie and if he could do all over again he would have killed every last one of them bcz the world is changing i know his syatem was wrong mobbing half of resources but if you see he did kept his people alive for so long which is the main goal stay alive however you can. Hell nah it felt like the beginning of something special, like someone was gonna step up as a leader soon. But nope. Poor kid didnt even survive a other 24 hours.
Im so sure that if Rick and the others didn't go for their plan and just let Carl talk with negan it could end right there the whole war because Carl was real with negan and brought his good self when they talked
Even the first time i ever watched thru i could see the things Carl says too negan penetrated negans tough shell just steeny tiny bit and hit him right in the feels and morality just a little bit, so negan had too put on an ever bigger shoe at those times.
