I am 64 and will NEVER vote Tory OR Labour again… R E F O R M This country needs a MAJOR political shake up !

The amount this government has wasted on harebrained and unworkable solutions shows the utter contempt for the taxpayer. It's not their money so they don't care.

99% of MP's don't know what telling the truth is.

I'm afraid the politicians and police are rapidly losing any respect the public had for them. In fact the police have lost the respect of the majority of the people.

This money should go to pensioners not on illegal infiltrators.

I'll never understand why the French authorities escort these boats to British waters and what's more confusing is why the Border Force team are there waiting with arms open wide to receive them. What a waste of £500m!

We just need to treat them a little more harsh than France and Italy.

Here's what the government (not "we"), need to do: 1. Come out of the ECHR, 2. Hold the French accountable-realistically, 3. Stop referring illegal immigrants as migrants or undocumented individuals, 4. Make it abundantly clear that British WILL be housed first, educated first, and be first to receive medical treatment. Gumption and strength is required.

The government have acted promptly and quickly by employing more people to process the asylum seekers.... Cutting the process time down from 7 hours to just 45 minutes and some asylum seekers from certain countries will be automatically rubber stamped 'approved' without the need for due process. 👏 👏 👏 The government talks about cutting payments to the pensioners and yet prepared to spend £4.7 million on asylum seekers daily.😢😢😢😢😢

What is disgusting is that instead of using hotels they are turning to luxury flats. Students who had contracts in Huddersfield for luxury accommodation were told a few weeks before they were to move in to attend university that their contracts were being cancelled. These students were left scrambling for alternative accommodation. How is that legal? The owner of the building who was making a lot of money from students made a deal with the Home Office to use these luxury ensuite rooms for illegal migrants. The only way the owner of the building would do this was if he/she/they were making even more money from the Home Office! Disgraceful. Those students should get together and sue the owner of the building and the Home Office for breach of contract. Why are illegal migrants being housed in luxury accommodation and how will the stop others following when they send photos back home?

Basically there is no control and the RNIL is bringing people in by the boat load; what is strang is that a charity ie the RNIL, is allowed to do this and yet if individuals did what the RNLI are doing, they would be classed as smugglers. The RNIL is not a government agency and should be held to the same laws as we all are!

This is all a distraction. Let’s put this in perspective. Nearly 650K student visas were issued in 21/22. 150K of these were for “ dependents” . Let’s assume on a low scale 70% of these are “children” to be classified as a “ dependent” . That is 105k school places . The average school size for a secondary school is 965 for a secondary and 290 for a primary. Regardless of age the UK still needs 105k school places . Regardless of age and taking the average of 627 between the two it will need to build 167 brand new schools even to supply schools to the dependents of the students . Let alone all the other 600k other legal immigrants dependents needs let in during the same period. Then take the asylum imbroglio with over 500 arriving per day. Wait until they are entitled to bring their “dependents”( up to 30 I believe?) . They will never pay their way and it’s about time the British public woke up to it. The UK is 2.8 Trillion in debt. And schools are going to fall down immediately. … apparently 🤷🏻It’s a side show to the real issue . Too many people and too few resources relative to the tax contributions made. Disaster .

Please ask him why are we giving them benefits? Take away that, and it will stop, I believe, overnight. So detention camps, 2 meals a day. And that's it. Why are they in 5* hotels? The French have stopped 15000 migrants from coming here. No they haven't the migrants are on a carousel which carries on going round and round. Failed today but another attempt tomorrow and on and on it goes.

It is because the UK spends £50k per head per annum on illegal migrants whereas France only spends £5k per head per annum that they want to come here for greater free comfort.

It is my view the migration levels, both illegal and legal deliberately high to compensate the business moguls etc for loss of access to EU foriegn labour. Truth is the poor of the UK can not be permitted to vote themselves a fairer Labour Market.

As far as illegal boat migrants are concerned, the truth to the population is very simple. Under current refugee conventions, the government can only accept the illegal migrants. Or the government can withdraw from current refugee conventions and pursue its own refugee policy. But will then run into problems with other countries.

The Tories will gladly talk about the dinghy boat people all day long - it ensures that the media magnifying glass is kept off the horrendous immigration numbers at 2.4m in total in 2021 and 2022 (net immigration 1.2m).

The government doesn't need expensive hairbrain schemes like Rwanda. International Law clearly states that the only Nation state an individual has legal right of entry is their own ie the country they hold citizenship. The International Law also states that a nation state can deny Leave of Entry to any, and all foreign nations. All UK gov has to do is deny leave of entry. That makes them entering uk sovereign borders illegally, and against UK authority. It also means the gov does not have to offer, consider, nor accept a claim of asylum.

Even if the Rwanda project did get off the ground they would have to fly them out at 500 per day to keep up with the thousands coming here every week.

Rwanda comes at a cost, turning them back to France is the only sensible move with Rwanda we end up with just as many migrants but a greater cost to the NHS!
