Israeli singer Eden Golan advanced to the Eurovision Song Contest final through public votes despite protests supporting Gaza in Malmö, Sweden, where the contest is held.
Golan faced mixed reactions during rehearsals and the semi-final, with cheers and boos.
Ireland's Bambie Thug, a non-binary contestant, urged the European Broadcasting Union to show 'empathy and conscience,' over Israel's advancement in Gaza and Rafah.
Bambie and other contestants including the UK's Olly Alexander, Finland's Windows95Man and Switzerland's Nemo - have called for a ceasefire in Gaza and the "safe return" of Israeli hostages in a joint statement.
Bambie also said the EBU prevented them from displaying a pro-Palestinian message during their performance during the first semi-final.
Cristo and Dr Renee Hoenderkamp speak with The Sun On Sunday's showbiz editor, Hannah Hope.

The Swedish moderator quickly came to her rescue and told her that she didn’t have to answer that, then Joost Klein blurted out ”why not??!!” in a provocative tone, putting Eden in an awkward situation.

These countries decided to walk away shame on them. They’re not professionals Eden has nothing to do with a country. She’s representing music from her country. That’s all bad losers the countries that have sided not take after putting their song they should be charged and not allowed to put in a shame on men representing their countryand their value not the countries value their own value

I honestly think Eden sounds a lot like Christina Aguilera. She has a huge range and total vocal control. The fact that she made it this far in the competition is on artistic merits entirely.
