I’ve been meaning to ask this… in case anyone in the comments has more info. I want to transition. Not soon, now is not the time due to my environment, but eventually, and I’ll go through male puberty and my voice will drop. Which is good, I can’t wait, but the only thing I don’t currently hate about myself and my body is my clear, high singing voice. It doesn’t feel a lot like me, but it just sounds great and realising that bit of art is coming out of me is one of the only times I’m genuinely proud of myself. Does male puberty ruin that? Can I become a good tenor or baritone after having been a good soprano? It seems like your voice is doing great, Kovu, it sounds amazing. Did you have to do any voice training after transitioning? Do you sometimes miss your old voice? There’s a pain urging me to be the man I could be, but never hearing Bereite Dich, Zion come out of my own mouth again is a bit of a price to pay.
