I think Adrian Griffin in my opinion was in weird situations. He a young head coach trying coach a veteran led teams with superstars. Adrian Griffin coaching would work better with a rising young teams.

He was put in a bad situation. I feel like giannis is getting too involved because apparently they were in serious talks with Nick and he didn't sign off on it and Ime was also available but they decided to go with a rookie coach.

@@grahamjl766although Ime, Nick Nurse would be great options. I would love to see Mark Jackson get another shot at head coach since him and Golden State Warriors parted way back in 2014 and he never got a shot again ever since than.

@@judykhaleck8034 It does seem like they did him dirty but it's been 10 years man. The game has changed so much and I don't think he even took up a college gig since he left. It's also a player ran league if they wanted him back he would have had multiple interviews at the very least. He does seem like an upstanding guy but it just makes me feel there is more to the story than we know.

Griffin had to go because coaches were quitting after he started arguments and players called him out. But replacing him with a historical playoff choking coach is not really an improvement.

Bucks won a lot of games, but they would beat the worst teams in the league by like 2-5 points and it was always close. If you actually watched the games we did not look like a championship team, regardless or record. The defense needs some serious work. Hoping Doc can come in and get them fired up, but I’m not holding my breath.

The Bucks traded for an elite scorer who doesn't play defense, at all. Not like he's a poor defender. Dude simply doesn't try. He routinely plays 3 point line to 3 point line and will often not make it to half court if there's a fast break going the other way. To get that elite scorer they gave up the leagues best perimeter defender. Now they suck at defense, and somehow it's the coach who's to blame? I love watching the effort the Greek Freak puts on display, but if he believes the coach was the reason they suddenly can't guard, I question his understanding of the game.

The writing on the wall was evident for some time. Semi-good teams were clowning them. This had nothing to do with the IST. Griffin had lost the locker room and had so for some time.

He was only 30-13 because of the talent on the team. Wasnt because the coach. A lot of those wins were close games against weak teams. Griffin will be a good coach though but he needs to be with a team that has 3-4 years to grow
