Blitzø being mistaken for the real life Brandon Rogers while being voiced by Brandon Rogers is the funniest thing I've ever seen.

*Two things almost everyone misses when watching this episode for the first time* 1.) When the gang first arrive in L.A. to search for Octavia, there are posters in the background saying that L.A. water is 98% lireral acid - hence why the director gets burnt when Stolas throws the bottle at him 2.) The guy Octavia lands on and unintentionally kills is Brennan Ragers (for those who didn't get this joke, Blitzø is voiced by Bradon Rogers - who is also the main writer of this show next to Viv)

I just love that we get Loona's heartbreaking backstory and get to see just how much Blitzø loves her. I also love the character development that Loona gets, showing that she does appreciate what her father does, as well as the heart-to-heart she has with Octavia. There's such a big/little sister vibe between them, and it's very heartwarming.

*I love the attention to detail in a particular moment! When Stolas angrily says "Yes Stella!" over the phone, his mouth gapes open as he breathes. Birds pant when they're stressed.* *Also, fun little visual detail. After taking on his human form, Stolas grabs and wears a pair of red sunglasses on his forehead, resembling his secondary pair of eyes.*

Ironic how the episode starts with Blitzø implying Loona isn't a people person and it ends with her being able to comfort Octavia. I think she is more of a people person than others think, she just very - VERY guarded about it, probably to protect herself.

The "Why does my dad hate her more than he loves me?" always hits me right in the feels

I still can’t get over the fact that Blitzø blushed at Stolas’s human disguise.

2 highlights of this episode: 1. Seeing Stolas in human form for the first time. 2. Witnessing Loona being like a big sister to Octavia. 🌙💜

I feel like there was definitely a subtle shift in Blitzø and Stolas's dynamic. They were more openly hostile towards each other when they first arrived in L.A., and Stolas actually responded more tersely to Blitzø's remark about memorizing his spells than he would have previously. There was flirting, but it was way more low-key than the kind of flirting that went on in the "Loo Loo Land" episode. I get the feeling that there's some tension still beneath the surface, but the more pressing issue was finding Octavia. Their interactions this ep felt like a big cocktail of: 1. A more urgent matter to attend to. 2. Stolas feeling more haughty and empowered to sass back to both Blitzø and Stella. 3. These two hot messes in general not being willing to address their issues with anything more than passive aggressive jabs. 4. The chemistry and sparks still being there.

Also fun fact: I know everyone already said about Blitzo got mistaken for his VA. But we actually see him. The guy that Octavia had accidentally killed by falling on him was Brendon Rogers.

Note that since the orphanage is run like a dog pound, Blitzo quite probably saved Loona from euthanisation. No wonder he's so protective.

We got so much more Stolitz content! Some people ship Octavia and Loona but I personally think they’d be better as sisters, especially since their dads are… you know. Anyways, seeing Blitz go into shock at seeing human Stolas was so cute! And Stolas simping after -Brandon Rodgers- Blitz was great

I love how this shows how much Blitzo, who was the one with most issues in the "Ozzie's date", does care about Stolas and Octavia. He's not acting out of fear of what Stolas could do to him, but rather doing what he'd like to have done if he lost Loona on one hand, and in the other, he Cares about Stolas. And we see Stolas trying to set his feelings aside but just can't, he likes and loves Blitzo too much. They could restart from here and it would build into a healthier relationship, I think.

Loona and Octi are no different from each other, indeed. Despite the aggression and unruly behavior she tends to express on a daily basis, Loona deep down is miserable and terrified over not being able to amount to anything. The tears running down her eyes when Blitz decides to take her in is quite troubling. Likewise for Blitz who acts all optimistic towards anyone around him, but he's still miserable and just won't show it to anyone else as he always hides it with his cockiness.

Loona and Octavia’s talk is probably my favorite moment in the show thus far.

6:45 "BLITZ!!!!" To say Stolas is angry would be BEYOND an understatement, especially given he's in his True Form.

Loona's backstory is just heartbreaking also while talking to Octavia and basically confirming that she does care about Blitzo and knows that he's trying his best hopefully we get to see a softer side of Loona more often in future episodes The next episode is coming out this weekend 😁

I would love to listen to Stolas narrating a space documentary (also, I love that Octavia is an "edgy teen" and still loves her father).

There's something about Loona and Blitz's dynamic that always punches me straight in the heart. Like, they're not great people, they mess up a lot, they have trouble showing affection because of their backgrounds but they love each other, and if that isn't family, what is? Idk. Maybe it's just my queer ass looking at a messy found family and going for the 'haha, I do that too' meme, but I love them so much.

I love how they said that blitzø was Brendon Ragers since he voiced by Brandon Rogers.

Seeing Stolas panting while talking to Stella is how birds show that they're stressed and it's heartbreaking to me :(

Its hard to notice, but when they first entered the alley in the human world and Blitz stands on the dumpster you can see a flyer that's slightly cut off on the left which explains that LA water is 2% sewage and 98% acid. Then the bottle stolas threw had a label that said LA Water

The producer burning from the water was something a lot if people missed because they did not read the PSA posters next to Blitz when they stepped out of the portal arriving to LA. It basically said that LA water was so toxic that 98% was straight up acid and the remaining 2% was sewage reflux.

Loona had an extremely rough childhood. Adoption systems on Earth really mess kids up. Especially those that are in them until they are teens. And Loon was 1 month from turning 18 and aging out. Based on her reaction to the kid with the baseball bat covered in nails, she has been attacked, beaten, and likely abused in the past. Once she beats the kid away, she cowers back into her corner and sobs. And people wonder why she is so mean on the exterior. It's literally how she survived. And the constant "she'll never amount to anything" played havoc with her mental view of herself. It's also extremely heartwarming to see Blitzo's reaction to the memory... "No, she's mine and I love her!" And Loona's realization later as she comforts Octavia. It's no surprise it has taken years for Loona to really start realizing things... and it's good to see that she has. We've had subtle hints of her respect and love for Blitzo over the show... but this is the biggest. There's a really nice moment when Blitzo catches Stolas as he falls by the had... remember at Ozzie's he pulled his hand away from Stolas. That fight and the time in between then and now has changed them. Both are behaving much more chill towards each other instead of raging horn-dogs. The flirting is much more personal and meaningful instead of just all out raunchy. Blitzo is paying attention to Stolas' needs for the first time. It's such great growth. Stolas again proves that he's a wonderful father, even when he is completely frazzled by Stella being a complete and utter bitch just to mess with him. It's a solid episode. The kids over on Reddit were extremely confused by why Stolas and Blitzo were flirting in this episode after the recent fight. Glad to see this isn't an issue with folks here on RU-vid.

The thing about the Brandon Rogers knockoff is that he was late, because when Octavia got there she landed on him. He didn’t show up, because he was dead.

Octavia and Loona can definitely connect, but rather than being 2 teens Octavia is 17 while Loona is in her early 20s. REMINDER TO THOSE THAT TRY TO SHIP THEM RATHER THAN JUST HAVE A CUTE SIBLING BOND *gives disapproving look*

Something I love about Loona is you can SEE as she continues through episodes, while she doesn't do things like talk about a "fuck up" out loud, she 100% accounts for an adjusts from them. - Blitz and Moxxie got hurt and Striker got away because she didn't listen when Blitz called for help. The next episode when Blitz called for her to do something she was ON IT, immediately, no questions. - She lets Octavia into the office without saying anything because she was angry and being salty, but the moment it was clear there was a big issue she was there working to fix it as best as she could. Also, as someone adopted with... not great adoptive parents... How compassionate for and protective of and how much it is shown that Blitz clearly adores her is ... god it makes my heart break it is so sweet. This episode made me ugly cry for real.

Stolas finally talked back to Stella by saying "Yes! Stella!!" That was so funny!!! LOL!!!!!

There are little things I didn't notice the first few times. That appears to be Verosika on the calendar in the I.M.P. office, only with a posted note of Blitzø's face over hers. Also there seems to be a human Verosika key chain among the art that guy tried to sell Moxxie.

Before I start the video, I predict that one line between Via and Loona near the end will devastate you. Update: It made you gasp, but the tears followed. Yeah, this is a great episode about dads and daughters and the complicated relationships between the two. Stolas and Blitzø may not get it right all the time, but they both care deeply for their daughters. In their own ways, Loona and Octavia love their dads back. If you go back to when the gang arrives in L.A., there's a poster in the background that explains why the water scalded the producer.

Hey Elijah, the reason that the producer man burned from the water is because earlier in the episode when they got to LA it was a poster saying that the water is i think 90 percent acid, and since stolas isn't human it doesn't affect him.

Hey just wanted to say that this weekend ep 3 is actually releasing!

Something that I haven’t seen anyone mention ANYWHERE is what they call the “meteor shower”. They call the, “Azathoths tears”. Azathoth is pretty much the most powerful being in Lovecraftian lore, when it opens its eyes the entire universe ends, and reality is it’s dream.
