Here's the thing...I'm down with Tamar but the truth is she went to Mona with the story idea. That was extremely poor judgment on Tamar's part. Believe me, it pains me to admit it but that's the fact. So really, Mona was doing what Mona was supposed to do or what Mona is known to do. Sometimes, we have to step back and objectively evaluate our mess AND be honest about how we contributed to the mess. As for the editing, I know after watching every show/episode Tamar's been in and also being an editor myself, the trailers have been cut to show Tamar to be problematic and possibly manic. But it also shows her trying to find her way. So, the show could have worked in her favor and ultimately shown the growth that many of us have seen over the past year. If the show does not air, we'll never know and many will be left with a poor representation supported by her recent incident. Even worse, if the show airs and shows her positively, it will prove that Tamar overreacted and was unfair and unsupportive of others' work (the network and production team). If the show airs and it shows her negatively, it will prove that she was right but still a bad situation for her. I will continue to pray for her complete healing and also pray for more wisdom, insight, discernment, and vocal/physical restraint. I will also continue to pray for the entire family as well.
Tamar I hope you read this. Life is really hard. It's harder when people want to count you out. People are quick to assume when they don't know. Even when we are happy, those hard moments ALWAYS creep up on you. It's ok to get down, but DO NOT count yourself out. You are amazing, and those that have doubts will open their eyes when they're ready. Others have their own hardships. They just tend to move through life in denial to where they deflect and to where as if things didn't happen. That's not living nor progressing in life. As for you keep growing. It seemed like she was really hopeful about being shown in a different light but aren't the camera crew, bosses, execs the same as BFV? To Catch A Beautician is on VH1 and that show is doing fine so I'm not sure if the contract prevents you from doing shows with other networks.
