[‼️ON SALE‼️] - $1 Advanced NPC System - Roblox
This is an NPC that I've made and animated, cheap to use for a limited time. Features:
- Follows the nearest player it detects.
- Backs up if the player it's following gets too close
- Always looks at the player it's following
- Runs/Sprints towards the player it's following, if they're too far away.

thank you for this and i wish you add more modes to it such as idle, (roaming around using pathfinding and stuff) hostile, uses its pathfinding to track the player down and try to attack it etc.

You could try to make an NPC that’s advanced in combat. For example if the player keeps there distance to much it plays more aggressive and uses ranged attacks. And if the player is too aggressive it goes on the defensive and tries to bait you or evades around you.

@@_mosE5i do have something i wanna see next but, dont need to make it if it`s hard. So the idea is that this npc would suddenly run towards player if player is ignoring the npc for a few seconds. After running towards it, NPC damages player atleast 15dmg and pushes player into the ground with aniamtions both. But dont need to make.

I think what could be changed to make it feel more realistic is that you have to get uncomfortably close before he'll step back a few steps (kinda like hl2)

great concept, i'd recommend you also add more modes to it. let me give you some ideas: wander: (uses pathfinding and AI to roam around, great for city settings) enemy: (using pathfinding to reach the player and attempt causing damage, great for horror / minigames) follow: kinda what the video shows and yeah

@@_mosE5 good thanks, it is because with many city games it can be useful to have walking NPCs which at least try act like normal people, therefore using some AI and pathfinding to understand what is around them so they can act like normal people, i dont know if this will work efficently in SUPER detailed games but it is definitely worth the AI for many city games, anwyays np dude, update me more on these updates as i might see this npc thing as useful

I got a idea, in april fools, It will spawn multiple of these npc at bank when someone starts robbing it. I will put a camera on the npc head (Imagine if it had pathfinding, I would surely give credits)

Nice system but if you get too close, jump or go to high up it kind of gets confused and messes it up. If you could fix that it would be great!
