This EV sounds nice! With the acceleration that Gillig EVs typically make, there is a good sharp sound that lasts for a few seconds while the bus is taking off from idle. With the operator stepping hard on the pedal after a stop, that sound on this bus is even louder!
If you are aware, the 29 no longer uses Van Hool A300Ks, as those buses are prioritized for the 65 and 67. On weekends, given how there are only 5 active units, they tend to go on the 7 more, as it supports the ridership of that route. This changed the pattern, as now EVs and hydrogens show up more frequent, along with a minority of regular Diesel Gillig Low Floors.
