Mary Jane, I'm American and everyone I know has different traditions regarding Christmas trees. Some go to Christmas tree farms to pick out a tree and cut it down. A lot of people buy cut Christmas trees from vendors who set up shop in December. Some buy live trees and then plant them after Christmas. Of course many have the fake Christmas trees. I was born on a farm and my family grew Christmas trees for us and our extended family. We would drive out across the cow field in our pickup truck (kids in the back sitting on bales of hay) every December to chop down our tree for that year. I miss that. 🎄🎄🎄

The most beautiful Christmas markets were born in Germany, Strasbourg, Alsace (France) Austria - Hello Mozart;) Switzerland naturally in the 14th century (say 1000 years ago) but Strasbourg is the most beautiful and famous one in the world with the tallest tree in the world with sublime lights as well. (The markets in Belgium are also beautiful) The original Bretzels (with a P. in english) are Alsatian / German, brought there by Germany/ Alsace. I have a lot of luck to travel around the world and being multilingual does help. New York is just discovering Christmas markets, a bad copy of Strasbourg but I am talking about 1000 years. Ken, it's a very beautiful video and I'm sure that soon you will be able to visit the whole world, thanks to your very humble and lovely character. Well done, don't change like other ytubers do . 👍🚶‍♂️🏆🎄

You seem a really chilled guy 👍 *edit* oh and Glüwein is ‘Mulled Wine’ and here in England we’ve been using plastic trees for years, but they also sell real trees just as often. Ikea for example give you a £20 voucher for using in the store in the new year when you buy a £25 real tree from them

for those who care: Glühwein= mulled wine The spices are traditional: cloves and cinnamon. The actual traditional Christmas drink is the "Feuerzangenbowle" - that is like the mulled wine only that sugar is melted over the hot wine by the hot steam. Your sound is off for some reason. It’s echoing especially in the market. I believe a clip-on mic would fix that. Sorry just my sound classes help me try figure out the issue and try to fix it.

It’s from both of our wireless mics picking up audio at the same time. I could correct it but it would require a lot of effort to cancel out the mics when we speak.

ActionKid try the wired mics sometimes they work a little better but use both so you know which to use where. I thought maybe the market itself has a slight echo as you were next to small stores and a wall which does echo. It’s just I heard the echo that you hear in like empty buildings and similar. It’s weird I can quickly understand which echo it is just by hearing it once I can also instantly imagine what the scene is and correct it if needed and what angle it needs to be before even filming. I have no idea where it comes from either. I guess maybe a born gift but I’m not sure.

It's a nice Christmas Market! Many of the products are made in USA. Mary Jane needs to chill with her sustainability stuff and enjoy the market. And we need sustainability in migration. Way too many people from third world migrate to the West, burdening the system, especially in Socialist western Europe. Needs to chill. I went to the Christmas market in Berlin and it was very cozy.
