Several weeks later, Nick Burnham was finally rescued during the ship's Trans-Atlantic passage, when he was discovered by an engineer's mate, surviving on ship's biscuit and bilgewater deep underneath the crew quarters. "I simply got lost," he explained. "So many areas!"

I got 3mins into this & decided to stop. This tour is going to require tea, chocolate digestives & the sofa reclining before I restart it! This is EPIC! No wonder Marianne had to film that other boat, Nick was lost in the engine room of this one! 🤣

This boat, this huge floating art piece is difficult to fathom. I do know this, if not for Nick's hook ups, I'd never be able to tour such majesty myself. I am so grateful for the experience. I thank all involved for keeping the boat in such a state of beauty. And thank you Nick, for the video tour.

A lot of modern boats have lost the charm this one has. So glad they kept it classy in the 2019 refit. I could never even imagine spending a week on something like this, let alone owning it. These sort of people just live on an entirely different plane of existence. It's truly a mindblowing boat.

I think that was the most complex engineering area I have ever seen on a yacht. Truly ship stuff. Thanks Nick!

Well done Nick for remembering your way around after the first run through before you started recording. I know you're chuffed to get these invites, and genuinely awestruck at the opulence and engineering masterpieces, but you would have to admit to having "arrived" at the big end with your channel. What a treat for us all!

Wow, 54 metre truly is nothing to sneeze at after all, but its easy to forget just how much space it affords. This is a serious piece of kit. One of my favorite tours you have done, no doubt. Some might not like the interor style, but I really do. Gives more personality which I think is needed on a vessel this size.

Change the window scenery and you wouldn’t know you were not on Regent street in a £10,000,000 luxury flat! Absolutely stunning, love to see the old ones still looks and running as new. Amazing craftsmanship. Thank you for showing her, she an amazing ship! She’s a cruise liner!

It is a truly spectacular boat. As a matter of personal taste I find the decor rather dates the boat - it's 1980s bling rather than cool Scandi-chic, but since that is purely subjective it's only a problem if you're lining up to buy it. A testament to the industry's regard for Aquaholic that you get such great access to these superyachts.

This boat is like the very best piece of Chocolate in the box that most people never get to experience. Nick, this one was amazing. Your work, this ship, simply amazing. Thank you for showing us this one!

Well Nick, I've watched every video you have uploaded and I'm sure this is the first time you have actually got lost! I've toured some big yachts but this is just vast, are you sure it's not called "Tardis"? It surely is one magnificent beast of a vessel and the level of noise reduction is breathtaking really.

Just a little runabout...

I've been trying to figure how to describe this, and all I can say is WOW! The cabins may be dated, but beautiful opulence is still beautiful opulence. I love the sun deck and the nautical stars on the decks of the 2 aft cockpits, matching the table on the main deck. The engineering spaces reminded me of my navy days. I respect not invading crew privacy, but, for me, that is a favorite part of your tours. Thanks for getting us on this truly amazing ship.

Incredible, what a Cathedral of an engine room. The rooms/bathrooms are very reminiscent of some smart hotels iI stayed in back in the 80's/90's - not my favourite decor, but i'm not sure i'd change anything, it all just seems to work so well. And I can't remember the last time I saw so many of those lovely circular ashtrays - takes me back! I even had to check N&J's website for the price as I couldnt believe it was "only" 14.7m Euros - lots of details on the equipment /running hours, which probably backs up the price-point. Still for 832 tons of classic steel Amels, its a lot of ship for the money. Thanks Nick that was a real Sunday treat.

I think you didnt show us the inside part of the sundeck. Since you said the elevator also goes there and we saw a door being opened when you went towards the big jacuzzi, I'd assume there is an inside part, even though not that big. Might just be a day heads, that elevator and maybe another pantry-ish area?

That should be a commercial ship big league like you said. The engineering is amazing. It proper ship stuff. I picked up you sometimes not sure where to go🤣🤣🤣. But anyway beautiful boat, this is what I enjoy to watch on the channel. It truly my stuff

I have been looking at this yacht for some time. Other promotional films/videos have not sufficed my appetite. However your enthusiasm, plus style of video enforces to me that she is my style of yacht. Sir, Thank You for this. I prefer the Gentleman yachts and very much opposed to the modern. I live for the like of Benetti from yester-year; Now they have somebody that thinks in a different direction to myself. This yacht - She’s a real gem! ❤❤❤🎉

Wow Nick this one is definitely a beauty so much space a bath in every guest room too much to talk about it all . For me the upper deck with that fantastic hot tub/small swimming pool and the bar is where you would find me on a summer’s evening. I have never seen a engine room with so much space. This one must of been like going to Disneyland for you buddy. As always Nick thanks for showing us around.

Are some of the captains/crew you work with weird about you filming? Cause sometimes you film their quarters even if they're occupied. Then others you don't.

Hi Nick, And thank you for this beautiful 1998 Amels 54 Metre Superyacht on Superyacht Sunday Great and what a ship this is WOW super nice and what a spaces in all those sleeping cabines with there big bathrooms all with a bathtub and shower separate great a elevator also nice the upperdeck and the sundeck with there own bar also there a cozy pool, So Nick when you play with the crew find and seek in the enigene space you you will never find them I believe Thank you that is a great show on the biggest yacht of this year?

This is like the classic ocean going transatlantic ships of years ago. Very nice as it reminds me of a luxury hotel in London, Paris, or NYC. Great review Nick & kudos to the captain & crew for such a clean well maintained vessel. 🇨🇦👍🙏

Is a beautiful in many ways if I did have the money I wouldn't buy it he says it has 7 cabins for the crew plus 1 for the captain and chief engineer making a crew size 16 do you really need that many. And the engine room is over the top. There's many boats at the same size much cheaper to maintain I can fully understand why the owner wishes to sell

It's big, it's luxurious, it's spacious , it's opulent, it's impressive. It's all a bit too much for my taste, especially all the gold taps and what not. Too much of a floating palace, too less of am actual boat for me.

The fact that it has a elevator and it costs 14.7milion dolars just amazes me

Besides the lack of money to buy it, I even wouldn't have enough friends to take with me on this kinda trip. 😂

The decor isn’t to my taste but it’s still awesome to get to watch a tour of such a big boat. You did a great job with the tour as always. Hopefully you will get the opportunity to do more huge super yachts like this in the future.

Absolutely stunning boat, I liked the way you lowered your voice when you entered the saloon. A great tour, even with the extra visit to the bridge when you seemed to get a little lost, understandably so. My head would be spinning well before that, and as for the engine room I would need a SatNav or a route map. Amazing engineering. All in all, Nick, a great tour, as ever, and a fabulous, fabulous vessel. 👍👍👍👍👍.

AV Equipment is a bit dated saw a dvd player and a vcr vhs player. TVs have obviously been updated since 1998

Anything less than 15 million, I don't consider it for my fantasy personal yacht collection!

What a lovely yacht! This is more my style. I can confidently say that for Amels, this is my 3rd favorite yacht of theirs, although, the one closest to affordability (as the other two were $40 mil and $70 mil). Love the interior and the absolute space for the crew area. That engine room was a practical labyrinth for a first go. _Faribana V_ is an interesting name. Did they tell you the story behind it?

That's insanely opulent! A bit garish for my tastes - would need to change all the taps and bathroom fittings. However, seeing as I propably couldn't even aford the taps, I'll just say... impressive! (Love you're excitment, Nick, whilst in the lift!)

WOW that is an incredible mega yacht. Everything was very impressive. Not only was it huge, it is undoubtably the most beautifully decorated and appointed yacht I have seen on RU-vid. It has to be a huge boat when you're walking behind the couches and chairs in the lounge. And I have to concur with the sentiment Nick ... "I'm in a lift ... on a yacht!!!". Hell, yeah! And I thank goodness the Engineer accompanied you into his domain - it's either that, or send you in with a map.

Not my cuppa tea. Too many crew and guests. A motor yacht is ok for the Med. For World travel, She must be a sailing yacht. I believe that I will buy something like an Extreme motor yacht for the Med, and likely a couple of sail yachts. One for the Atlantic and one for the Pacific. I'd relocate every 4 months. It is done.

I think the $14 million Euros is well worth the price. Explorer with a 3700nm range. Month-long provisioning with huge freezers, elegant cabins. This felt more like a major cruise line ship.

Amazing yacht.... the only other super yacht I remember seeing a lift was El Bravo back many many years ago, although, that lift was a glass circular one. As friendly as everyone sounds, do you ever feel a little overwhelmed with all the other people around... ?? Otherwise, A brilliant tour... Was a quadruple roll over on the lottery last night, even though I didnt win, I think I could of afforded this, though the up keep and everyones salary would of blown the budget.... LOL....

Now this is a proper little ship. She maybe 24, but she is stunning and looks as if she came out of the builders yard just a year or so ago. Nick, did you get a chance to video the Azimut Grande 26M yacht. Your colleague Hugo did, but it was full of people. Did you have any better luck?

I was concerned we may never see you again after filming this. You weren’t dropping bread crumbs to find your way back out. This was definitely a real treat and another fantastic video!

With 16 to 18 crew, you're probably looking at 3 million a year or more just in running costs, (salaries, food, insurance, etc.) and I can't even imagine how much fuel this beast must eat.

Nice!! Just need 1 captain, 3 officers, 6 maids, 3 chefs,7 ass., 5 engineworkers and 10 people to constantly polish the whole sh..🤣

Gould love a ducks what vessel, Nick you can be forgiven for getting a little lost you need a route map. I mean all baths and crew cabins all on suite, hell and that engine room etc just incredible. That wouldn’t fit up the River Media on the Isle of Wight😁. So I won’t be buying it😂 Let’s see more of these super yachts but also some more second hand yachts to see what is available.

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of superyachts, they can be a bit chintzy, but this has blown me away. It's like staying at the Ritz (which I have, only once mind for my 60th) but this is mind blowing, I just keep thinking of the running costs! (still not put the heating on!) BUT for the super rich that's neither here or there! I love this boat! Brilliant!

What a ship should look like, classy not glitzy like a Las Vegas resort. Engineering spaces were a little tight but she is 28 years old after all. One thing you get right is to call parts of the ship what they are, i.e., decks, not floors, bulkheads not walls, but like many other of your contemporaries, you still say ceiling vice deckhead. Forgive me but I'm just an old navy sailor babbling on.

I think I prefer the CRN 142. Oh…. Hang on…. That costs €20,000,000 more! This seems a bargain! 🤣😂🤣

I wanted to jokingly say that this is a found footage after you got yourself trapped in the freezer. Then you went into the engine room. The engine room itself felt larger than some of the smaller yachts you showed us. xD Wow, what a yacht!

For me, being your average middle class guy, I can quickly figure out what I like and don't like about this ship. The likes are almost everything including the lack of seating behind the helm which allows for that spacious office for the captain. I don't normally like jacuzzi's on ships but this one is the exception. Two bars....right up my alley. What I dislike is bathtubs. I hate taking a bath and therefore my guests would not have the luxury of a bathtub in their room. I'll give them that space back in their cabin. I didn't get to see the captains cabin and I like to make sure it's adequate. I like it when they're connected to the helm personally. Not to put them above the rest of the crew, but to put them near the helm. Cool yacht.

Oh wow! Luxurious, tasteful and what big engines! The pièce de résistance was, of course, the ride up in the lift. 😊 Brilliant tour.

Another excellently conducted tour. As everyone only writes positive comments (personal taste aside) I'm going to remark that the chefs operating in the galley have not bothered to keep the vitro-ceramic surface sparkling and clean. There are products for this and I am only too well aware of which one my wife recommends!

Take my money now! To use a phase used by some Radom bloke we know “it’s got a little ship feel” in fact no it hasn’t IT is a little ship! I’ve seen worse cruise ships! Thank you Nick. I was just thinking about the Duchy 35 review, what a difference! I'm afraid this Engine room is just too much for me, yes you would need a lot of crew! This is not a boat for a couple 🤣

i very much like her. she's a bit old fashioned like a Rolls Royce Cloud. first off i would banish the grey fabric in the salon. it cries out for chesterfield bolstered couches in house of lords red. second the bed coverings are disgusting, please remove for paisley or tartan. i love the different marble and gold fixtures in the heads. the gym is nonsense, away! too big and complicated for a family yacht. 17 crew, my God.

What a spectacular boat. Such a classy boat compared to the typical modern boat. Has aged so very well, which I'm not so sure the typical modern style will...

The mid 90s really did seem to retain a traditional maritime feel. Something shifted quite abruptly starting in the mid 2000s 🤔I could just be incredibly biased, though!

It might not be new but it's the best Yacht I've ever seen it was just WOW everywhere you turned

2:05 "Absolutely classic", turns and you can see a VCR under the TV...oh yeah! Classic all the way! :) I love this boat. It honestly seems way more like a home vs all these modern boats.

What really puts me off is that nasty old plastic double navigation lantern mounted on the aft mast. For approx €15000 they could replace all the navigation lanterns with modern LED lanterns and a new control panel.
