If you read the instructions for these. Then they are set up correctly. As for room size then that depends on music type and volume. These are wonderful speakers. A high end bargain .
Room too small? Says who? Not the ideal set-up, but Looks to me like there's ample space around the speakers to accommodate them nicely. If the way the system sounds is any indication, and it sounds Wonderful!!!, I'd say......Bravo!!!!
@@drplot1 You'd better stick to sports. It IS a double bass, played on the highest string, and probably using "solo tuning" which is higher than orchestral tuning.
With opposing panel placement, there is no possible time alignment. Poor cohesiveness. Also, these planar speakers need exceptionally deep large room since they are at least 5' or more off the rear wall.
Not entirely true ...many here as in nobody , understands how magnepans operate. Look up the dipole radiation pattern.. It's totally different than point source speaker. These are nearly dead at the sides, meaning they won't suffer much from the walls next to it. However the room does suck in this case.
