It’s like the sprinter van of the water, sprinters don’t actually cost 200k to make, but rich people have been convinced that they are worth 250-300k because of prestige. Yes, it is nicer than a basic van, just like this is nicer than a basic rib, but they can charge exorbitant amounts because people will pay it, profit margins on luxury goods are always higher.

@@lumix_1717Sprinter VIP conversions can go north of $300k USD. Many of them have 4 big captains chairs, all 8-10 way adjustable with recline and leg supports, bench seats or a 90° sofa behind them, mini bar, huge TV and entertainment/sound system, and sometimes even a small kitchen with a bathroom at the rear with fridge and microwave, all finished in exquisite leather and fine woods with other very high quality materials. Those vans are very expensive, but they are extremely nice and very luxurious.

I don't know why i bother Nick. I give up my time to watch your video's. Then you give us a tour of a quite basic but useful day boat. It also had 2 mirrors, yes 2 MIRRORS !! Great Bit of kit but very expensive for a rib.... Have always found with these there is not enough storage, Especially if you are using it as a tender on a super yacht.

Looks like the pull out fridge may be top loading as well. I like how simple the interior is but they gave you a good sized head. Normally they seem like a tight fit. Definitely a great boat designed for a fun day on the drink. Cheers Nick. Thanks for the great video.

I hope Nick will someday make a video not only about how much a boat costs but also why it costs x-amount; With this boat (and so many others) I really dont see the reason for the ridiculous price tag, where as with a Galleon Im always going ‘wow thats (relatively) cheap’!

A good chase boat, or would serve as an alternative venue when you want the kids off the yacht for a bit. Teenagers with cabin fever are an absolute nightmare, so a couple of these loaded up with booze, skis and other toys will distract them from moping about the Amels 180 and spoiling the vibe for the adults.
