Love the magnet idea on the plates and cups. Think they should all have them and magnetic tops everywhere, so if someone puts a glass done, it doesn't get spilt.

Beautiful boat, but SO many un-necessarily powered hatches, steps, covers, garages, etc. Give it 5 years in the salt and none of them will be working, not to mention it adds more cost to building the boat. The best engineering is the simplest and most elegant solution to something that provides the most longevity for the lowest cost. Powering everything with switches and electric motors that could have easily been done with a hand-operated latch does not meet that definition.

I know the drill and I'm glad to see The Wave™ in fine form. This boat is absolutely stunning. Great layout, decent decor and SOOO many features well implemented, while still keeping everything pretty spacious. Price-wise, I think it's about what I'd expect to pay for something as good as this. The only thing I'd miss is the option of having the upper deck fully enclosed, due to the sort of weather I usually deal with, but this one is certainly on my Wishlist!

windys are not expensive ,they cost what they are worth, if I could afford one I would choose windy over a cheaper product as the quality would mean they would keep there value

Hi Nick. Thanks for the great video as always. Do you know whether the swim platform can accommodate a lightweight jetski? Consider this Camira 40RS over the Princess V40 but a jetski is a must.

Love the style and build quality. That being said the sleeping arrangements are poor for a 40 foot boat. I guess I shouldn't critique as this is way out of my league.

@6 mins, the throttles rise to suit a standing position but not the touch screen trim tab controls...which might be a problem at 45 knots. Why not have engines and trim tabs combined in a similar way to performance cars e.g. select launch control, top speed, economy cruising, rough ground/sea etc. ?

A very practical three season boat. Galley on the back deck for hot days. Air Conditioned below provides a cool break from the Summer's heat. But where is the "FUN"? As common sense might suggest, FUN and practical boating don't mix. Well they BOTH live comfortably in this Windy 40RS. Nice boat. Fun tour. Thanks Windy and Thank You Nick for the tour.

Me too tbh, the failure rate of Gizmos -unnecessary toys and over complicarion - particularly affecting motor Vehicles , starts getting to be a very serious Failure issue from about the fifth year in general. I try to avoid anything but Base Models in general, but not much help any longer due the extent interconnectedness has become. For example, you can have such badly designed Suspension and Suspension Geometry, that instead of fixing the actual problem with a good design and geometry, an electronic fix is resorted to instead. I had one such vehicle supplied for work, and if hitting a puddle, the damnedcthing would go into an extended Aquaplane effect, long after having left the puddle. After it almost caused a head on collision with a lorry as the car had thrown me into the wrong side of the Road, I provided my own vehicle, and the Boss traded the thing in to get rid of it. My sister had a pretty recent Car, and the Gizmos started Failing in tnat, and it took some sorting out. KISS principles, ergonomics, and user Friendly intuitive principles have unfortunately become abandoned in general it seems, in favour of Driving up prices via Over Complexity it appears. 🤔

Love all these Windy boats. They seem to be a great balance between cruising, overnighting, and sporting. Plus great features like the configurable sun bed, boot area, dedicated fender storage, the retractable Bimini tops, and separate shower. It looks like the pad on top of the wet bar is intended to be a little seat to perch on when the wet bar is not in use. Not to mention they’re great looking.

It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but who doesn't love a Windy and a new model to boot you are spoiling us Mr Burnham sir. I've always said to myself anything 40ft and up would have to have a saloon but this would be an exception for 40ft. I would definitely have the hard top version,love all the new gadgetry stuff Windy have come up with (like the screen controlling the boat) but would have to see the two cabin version before deciding on which to go for. Nick isn't it time for Marianne to do another boat tour 🤔 anyway all the best from Cornwall 🤗👌🖖

Hi Nick, Anf thank you for again a great show of a new Windy this time the Windy Camira 40RS and there are a lot of windy's on your channel to find but this one is a great examble and looks great again what a sports/speed boat it is 2 big D6 with the maximum of horse power, this type with a nice salon or bedroom all in together 2 bedrooms and a head with separate shower very need Thanks again Nick a great show of this Windy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

yes, expensive , as ever :-) Nice layout though . great for weekends , maybe a month ? how many times a year ? Nice for a few ;-) Not sour grapes :-) Respect , can drop 750 k + 10 % yearly stuff :-) What a quandary , have a really nice boat that I should spend a lot of time on , really is space for 4 ! If you can pay cash , go enjoy ! Cruise around the Med :-)

Windy continues the smart thinking and realizing if you are boating with your family and want to spend the night at anchor, oh wow, it might be nice if our kids could come to and have a place to sleep! Plus, not charging an obscene anoung for it for what you get, unlike Grady White and Boston Whaler who think they are better than HSB and want hundreds ofmthousands for a 1 cabin 28' dayboat. I Never understand these boats that literally advertise as boatung for the whole family, but then they make the cabin for 2. Guess the kids can camp on the benches outside or sleep on the floor or in the head. Idiots. Some brands think. Windy is one.

That is a beautiful boat! For the legendary Windy quality i think the price is very reasonable. I also like the reinstatement of the table/seating area below, although that may not suit everyone. I remember when the Ghibli had this, then they changed it so there was just a bed and no table and seating, and I wasn't so keen. Just depends on how you intend to use the boat. Many comments recently have mentioned that boat prices are going through the roof, so I really think this is good value for money. Of course there are many, many options for that kind of price, both in size and style, and the pre-owned market gives you so much choice, but if this is the type of boating you desire then this is the one to buy, in my opinion.

Fantastic and very well thought out weekend rocket ship! Nick, you must have the knees of a 20 year old the way you get in and out of these boats with tight engine holds. The magnetic glasses, plates and mugs are genius. I don't think I've ever seen that. Put a metallic table in the cockpit and you can have lunch flying at 40 knots except you might have to put a magnet in your sandwich! I don't think around $ 1,000,000 USD is all that expensive for this kind of aesthetically designed and engineered boat. Seems almost like a bargain.

I just mettioned it because the whole design of this boat is more focused to luxury things than to really practical things according always to the length of this boat. I am more fond of 40 or 30 feet boats where they have incredibly smart use of any space than to waste spaces for wine coolers and tech that is more useless than practical.

Love the magnetic glasses and crockery, great idea. Nice boat all round and good speed. Think the D6s are a good choice, they sound alright too being a 6 cylinder and still quick, fuel easy to find and a bit better on fuel than outboards. Thanks for the the tour Nick.
