My thoughts are more along the lines of look how much more one would have to pay to get the features one wants. Usually, I find that those features require extra hull length/larger displacement.
It's all about the dream of luxury with privacy. These boats need no crew ;-) Bigger boats are much more of a faff. This you can pop down the marina and take it out one afternoon, even on your own for a spin to clear your head. A superyacht? Need to schedule your departures well in advance usually, although the best crews give you a lot of flexibility and spontaneity.
you're just not thinking big enough, a proper superyacht would be soo damn big you wont even have where to dock it or any reason to, so you simply get in-out in a helicopter or an amphibian deployed from one of its indoor wet garages, and deploy the car on the beach from said amphibian
Seems like more yacht builders are seeing what a class presenter you are and letting you loose well done. Like many dreamers here always look forward to your content as it is always great and may well we see more miele.
I actually prefer the fly bridge I like the fact you can socialise up there whilst underway and you have to xtra room. It’s a very nice boat for the price. Nice vid Nick you really are living the dream
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
What amazes me the most with this boat is how they've managed to fit a door next to the helm, making docking ALOT easier for whoevers lucky enoughy to pilot this beauty.
60k subs..great achievement in 3 years and so well deserved. Only seems like yesterday since you started. Always personable and professional,. 100 k just around the corner.
Thank you again Sir Nick, I love that lifting door to the saloon, completely out of the way! Very bright vip cabin! I really like the mirror/tv units and the light coloured wood! It’s very bright! Cheers Mr AQH
Beautiful yacht, the Italians knows how to make great designs. I love the silver colour on this boat. I'm a fly bridge fan so I'd choose that if given the choice. Goes well with my tweed smoking jacket and a tumbler of Talisker Storm. Great presentation Nick. Cheers
Bloody hell nick....just when I’ve set my (fantasy) target on one yacht, you go and change my mind for me!!! Thanks a lot!!!P.S. brilliant review as ever👍
I really like this boat. Nice design, quality space, modern clean furniture but not too extravagant or posh. Thanks for making it possible for all to see those nice boats inside out. Watching those videos makes me feel like I was there in person with you. Seeing something likeable generates desire, and desire generates action. And action makes life fulfilled.
I just discovered your channel, and you are a fantastic tour guide. You stop and focus on the stuff I'd be looking at if I were there. I love the fact you never skip the engines or the electronics.
I love how watching these makes me critique boats I can't afford lol ...but they're all beautiful ..yet I'm like "oooh I wouldn't put the bbq there" lmao ...classy boats.
Ive been here from quite early on and I’ve noticed that in the last few months, your channel has really grown. And I’m now seeing reference to you on so many other boating channels. “Can’t wait for the Aquaholic video” I see often. Definitely the best tour videos on YT.
I think on a yacht this size I would like to be my own Captain great yacht and another stellar showing Nick thank you and to your wife for letting you do this for us all.
Just saw these somewhere else and was wondering about a real tour and actually wanted to ask you if you could get access to them. That's a nice coincidence
Flybridge on a 40 foot next, let's see them in some weather and watch the wind take hold. The coup looks well proportioned, unlike its too tall brother. Goodonyah Nick keep em coming.
Nick, you said you could order this yacht without the lower crew quarters and get a "massive" storage area. If I was buying this yacht, I would tell the engineers to put some huge fuel tanks in there to "beef" up my range. I need to cross the pond to see my "bud".. lol
Oh i like i a lot because its much much much cheaper than some sunseeker and others and it has a flybridge and it has feel of 60+ feet. Great mini yacht.
Another fly bridge fan like me. If I could own one of these yachts, the best part would be to drive it from the fly bridge, look out over the bow and feel the breeze.
Beautiful boats and a great tour (as always). I like the styling and the layout, practical as well as beautiful. Despite starting to lean heavily towards "openable" (to invent another new word for the Aquaholic dictionary) large sport boats, I think I´d go for the F if the choice were between these two boats. Having that sundeck with the bucket seats means a much smaller opening roof section than on other comparable sports boats, and for me thats a bit too much "the worst of both worlds" rather than "the best of both worlds".
I'd put the satelite equipment and radar on a elevated arch on the "S" model so I dont get zapped by any radiation LOL. Nifty thing to be able to use the top for sunbathing and driving the boat. Space that is normally wasted. Both boats nicely done. But would be a hard thing to choose which one to get since both offer the same on two different packages. I think the S model will sell well to the younger crowd and the other traditional model to the older folks lol, Great video. Did a good job. P.S. your now ignoring the brand on the stoves LOL Thankyou
Maybe you can spec no hardtop on the Flybridge to have a much sleeker look. A bimini would still give you shade at anchor. It would fly away when on the plane though, like an umbrella on a stormy day. I haven't seen umbrella storage on any boat so far. Something important to consider.
I live just a stone throw from one of Cranchi’s dealers, Tingdene at Racecourse Marina Windsor. If you are looking to buy a boat around the 50ft mark the Cranchi E52S or E52F must be on your list. They are superb quality boats at a reasonable price, and they look magic in this silver colour. For me it would be the Cranchi E52F without the optional hardtop. The Windsor dealer has never had either of these boats in the marina as far as I am aware, but they have a Cranchi M44HT in the same silver which is also a great but an open type boat. Just seeing the design, the quality, detail and the way it is put together would persuade you to at least have a Cranchi E52S or E52F on your short list. One other excellent reason to visit the Racecourse Marina at Windsor is that there is a fabulous waterfront restaurant and cocktail bar called GoGos. I have been there many times, closed now due to current circumstances, but hopefully reopening soon.
What an interesting pair of boats. I prefer the flybridge one as being the social butterfly that I am, being able to have a small libation or three would suit me down to the ground. Chin chin, hic. Thanks for sharing this video and here's to the next tour🍷🍷🍹
Well there it is. After what feels like 100+ Aquaholic videos, I have found the boat. Now to sell the house, home school the kids, and somehow get this to Hawaii, and I am all set.
Great job as usual Nick, you give us so much stuff to make our decision a hard one to make! As for the boat... the manufacturer's choice of straight-sharp edges in the cabinetry would be a deal breaker for me.. I wouldn't ever put my children around in a swinging boat (while at sea) with this kind of edges.
Great video Nick! Love the look of these boats especially the 50 footers and sub 50s. Would love to see more tours of second hand boats of this size, like the old Princess V48 for example, previously V46. Also I couldn’t help but wonder where the steering wheel is on the fly of the E52S. Anyway thanks again for the video!
I always look forward to watching your videos and this one doesn't disappoint! Two beautiful boats 🛥🚤 👍🏼I would love to see you do a review on a Mangusta super yacht 🛥
Surprisingly spacious at this size (he said having no idea except fantasy boat shopping on aquaholic for a couple of weeks). Nice interior too. I'll have the sleeker coupe version i think 👍
Considering the downstairs already has a BBQ, i think the sleek look with bucket seats is probably better. If youre getting too much sun just go downstairs, and you still have a sliding roof (and im guessing its cheaper too)
How was the view over the satdomes from the seats on the Sports? I'm not as tall as you though so might have to get up to look over them :-p Oh the hard work lol! It feels like a sports car with the centre console, and the joystick steers it nicely without needing a wheel. It'd be my choice. Hope you can spec the 1000 series engines though. I like speed. The Flybridge boat is finished to a higher standard - teak decks and overall it looked like it had more painted panels and stainless steel maybe. The Flybridge deck wasn't teak though. Boooo! I think that's a magic seat on the left on the Flybridge; you can turn the backrest to face fore or aft. The third cabin would make a very handsome single with the infil in place. Nice to see analogue gauges at the helm. The crew cabin has ample light and would be fine as an extra guest cabin.
Wow what a great boat. I might actually prefer this to the princess F55... Look at me, I have become an expert in yachts thanks to Aquaholic, just a few months ago i didnt know anything about big motorboats.
Is it legal to sail a 35m yacht singlehandedly in British waters if the yacht is foreign flagged, I have the required license and it is only used for private purposes? Would love to be the owner/operator of a large yacht like an FPB 130 and only use friends/family as crew.
As Europe's traditional seafaring capital, if there's any nation to let you do it, it's probably Britain. In Italy for instance, any boat over ten metres must be registered with the government, and you pay a lot more tax. You also can't use the same name as another registered boat. As a result, there's loads of 9.9 metre boats here ;-)
Great video, as ever, sir! Thank you for sharing. This vessel doesn't seem to be very premium, fixtures and fittings-wise. Compared to other similar sized boats anyway. I may be wrong! Apologies, of so! 👍
I can't fit my minisub on this!?! (Not to mention it looks too much like a camper van on the inside) We're gonna need a bigger boat, bring on the next one Aquaholic!
Great nick , I will have the fly bridge in a heart beat , keep the crew cabin its another cabin. Zip around the med , etc etc ,......oh & put the " s" version on order for the weekend! 😎😎
Very interesting, and great show round, Thankyou. The sport version is very attractive with the open top area like that, very nice indeed. But only 200 nautical miles. Mmmmm even my Cullinan does more than that.....I think 😂😂😂😂😁😁😁
Beautiful video, as always, just a tiny note, it is pronounced /kranki/. Doesn’t matter, in fact, since you’re able to show as with the same spontaneity from little boats to superyachts making us felling in love with them. Keep it up
Very nice video - one comment I know you are an average sized person and I heard squeaky floor noises in the accommodation spaces and while you were climbing to the flybridge. I have started looking for this in your videos and hear it on occasion. It must be a pet peeve of mine, but that would be a show stopper.
