About Citroen Basalt: It looks just AWESOME..outside n inside. Looks VERY MUSCULAR N MACHO, as cars should be, like in the old days! ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥 Even the name sounds cool! I love Citroen..they always bring some cool feature that is novel and practical. The thigh adjusted seats are gonna be a big game changer. Now everyone will follow, as usual. Apart from the industry-first under thigh support, there's the curved and contoured rear passenger head rest, all of which will increase the comfort for passengers 👍👍 And the presence of the FOG LAMPS 🙏🙏 (unlike the idiot car makers who omit them in the name of "trend"), increases the night visibility and during heavy rains and 'Fog'. Now about the Tata Curvv: The front side looks like an Open Autopsy! 😂 It looks like the vehicle got into an accident and some panels have been torn apart. This stupid trend of providing unnecessary large Front grille (cost-cutting more than style) has to stop. And the back...jeezz...will anyone be able to see those "EYELINERS"...😅😅. Seriously! I fear for those driving this vehicle. They should pray that no vehicle will come and hit them from behind and cause injury. Those "connected" tail lamps will also become "disconnected" tail lamps. The quality of those front and back LED strips looks like CHEAP CHINESE AFTERMARKET ones. Can anyone tell me if I'm wrong??! This is another stupid and dangerous trend of making TURN SIGNALS ans TAIL LAMPS like eyeliners...cutting off visibility to traffic from front and back. SUCH STUPIDITY in the name of "DESIGN". And see when you open the boot wide open, how much of those tail lamps is visible??! Can the traffic coming from behind even see the hazard lights when you park the car at the side at night, and you open the boot to get something?? SCARY!! And about the stance of the vehicle..Wahh!! Kya baat hai!.. It looks like the REAR has been lifted by some hydraulic jacks to change tires! 😂😂😂 And boy oh boy, look at that CONFUSION happening at the sloping roof..why the heck woukd you give such an UGLY STUBBY "SPOILER" for a "coupe" you morons??! Tata, I think you don't care anymore. Who the heck came up with the overall design of this???? And also, the name is given to this thing..."CURVV" (like some 3 year old misspelt it 😂). The name is "Curve", but I see only squarish, angular, boxy designs both outside and inside...not at all curvacious! Whereas BASALT looks curvacious atleast inside.. How Ironic! Can't even properly name a vehicle...Why Tata, why?! The Altroz and the Nexon were spectacular names. And for a new segment first car, you came up with such a stupid name?? Even a 5 yr old could have come up with this name easily. And the name sounds more like a MARUTI SUZUKI product (they are the industry leading when it also comes to giving stupid names to their cars). The sunroof is gonna be a major pain in the butt. For those idiots who don't know,.. if the car is parked outside under the hot sun, the inside of the car will be like a furnace. Also the mechanism is prone to damage and issues overtime, by the heavy monsoon rainfalls. Oh and good luck with those toothpick "jammed" look door handles. I would like to see how the elders and aged people get into the car without having to struggle with it. Moreover I fear that the entire thing could just come out with a good yank. POINTLESS and IMPRACTICAL TREND! Imagine if some vehicle hits on the side...that's it..the door "handles" will go further inside and then you would really need a "REQUEST" to get in 😂😂😂 Overall, it is such a let down, Tata! I would any day prefer the well-put, all-rounder, simple, functional, elegant and practical feauture-rich package from Citroen - the BASALT (such a cool and macho name too) over this overrated pathetic offering from Tata. Nothing against you Tata. I was a Tata fanboy. But off late I just see some monkeys running the company to the ground. So, yea no more Tata Buy-Buy, only, TATA BYE-BYE!
22:43 There is a Big Engineering fault in coupe style hatchbacks, If you keep luggage upto seat height and close the boot little hard will break the rear glass in case if you remove parcel tray
Mr Viprajesh for lower or next stage the features shown here are not available ( rear ac, arm rest, wheels, seats with thigh support , materials) . When higher variations is shown please advise clearly about this) Many are interested to know the co passenger seat, passenger comfort, seat breadth , leg space, thigh space etc. This is feeling of few I have discussed Thank you!
They should have brought unique perspective in this car like Maruti/Toyota only has mild hybrid, no one else has thought about it. If spending so much for the car & no mileage means people will not consider new brands as alternative.
Decent Review.. Practically covered than giving more brochure spec... Btw brand image, long back, i bought Chevy Beat and Sail back to back and burnt my fingers.. between. 2013-2018 years.... Preferring US brand GM Chevy.... If Citroen stays and proves their presence like Kia, they can sustain to some extent.. Or they will become like another Chevy, Fiat etc in India... Lets C
Citroën is not a newcomer, they are a world-class brand established in 1919. They pioneered engine quality and the front-wheel drive system. They have never compromised on comfort, engine quality and suspension. If you have any doubts about this brand, just take a test drive to experience their value.
Brother no one said all the above cars have the best rear seat. I think in this coupe style category, the Basalt has best rear seat experience. Even compared to Creta or Seltos.@@Mohan-ex3vb
@@autotrendtamilbro, C3 Aircross also updated as 2024 version along with Basalt launch... now equipped with central armrest, door side windows switches, LED headlamp etc...
Video la ena variant and ex showroom pricing, ellame solli dhaane start panrom sir? Also base model naalum rear seat space and comfort same dhane irukkum
Problem with Citroen is built quality & safety rating. Trusted maruti buyers ll buy this product too. But nowadays new brand buyers are concern on safety n features.
Waste of money broo namma 16 lk kuduthu top end yeaduthalum oru push button star adas 360degree surround view camera yeadhuvum illa tata curvv definitely will be a killer in the segment....I won't prefer this oldy car....😢😢😢
Do not buy any citroen vehicels. Just the torque figures looks good only on paper not on realtime driving. My C3 NA petrol 2023 model taken delivery on 2024 Jan is performing worst on slopes or in hills b2b traffic. On slopes engine is very underpowred when you get in a situation to crawl in half clutch mode in b2b the engine shuts down automatically with heavy vibration. Even test driven new C3 it also has the same problem, Citroen India and Dealership conveyed this is normal which is their design, engineering mistake. Low end torque in first gear is very poorly configured, Second gear low speeds pickup has heavy lag, Both NA and Turob matted engines have high end torque issue as well as came to know from some turbo C3 owners. This engine is capable of 240NM torque but its locked by citroen india dont know why. Also, in C3 only on turbo variant they are providing ESP, Hill hold assist, NA variants dont have this least till 2023 models which is pathetic,Maybe they provide in basalt, Not sure. if you take sharp curve turn above 50-60 kms speed itself car is having heavy body roll and trying to get out of control to upscond. Suspension comfort is only the plus. Plastic quality is cheap. Adding to this, Service network is not well established yet and changing dealerships and transition in big city like chennai is killing users experience on service. #Citroen India closes customer complaint raised automatically without your confirmation which shows their lethargy in customer support, satisfaction, feedback. Lot of room for development for Citroen india. If citroen india does not hears customers feedback and fixes it soon Citroen will be out of india like they exited on Australia market officially. Shared my geniune feedback to warn anyone even thinking of buying citroen cars...
Top end Turbo AT is 17L OTR in Chennai which is ridiculous for this cheap quality car and its pathetic toy like plastic quality and its priced directly at Hyundai's Venue N Line in the pricing, the only thing you would miss is the boot space but coupe designs are by default a failure in the boot height space so its a even match no use of additional length except rear leg room which Venue suffers but still this Basalt cant match Venue in quality, features, service network, spare parts and price to performance value.
One of the worst value for money car... base to top no much difference only engine change... Comparatively other car in this price has much much much features... In top end basic cruise control also it don't have waste 🤦
