₹500 UNLIMITED THALI !!! near Madurai Meenakshi Temple 

My favorite place in Madurai, when I used to live in Madurai from 1988 to 1996. I used to enjoy eating in this restaurant.

Nostalgic, I have eaten here 25 years back. Things has improved a lot

Sir how u say madurai is expensive still now not sir comparatively to cbe I am native of madurai and lived in cbe but still many things and people love are doent expansive always madurai is madurai we can't replace any city with madurai in everything in my experience

Opinion varies.We are vegetarian s.We loved Madurai hotels coffee shops etc.We found it very reasonable and tasty.

Glad to know that a Bhojanalaya run by Rajasthani people in Madurai is offering such a bountiful thali for just Rs 500. Not only North Indians, even hundreds of Southerners too enjoy such food. I have taken thali food at Rajasthani restaurants in Mumbai and the prices in Mumbai also are at the same level.

Sir along with poori, chole, aaloo thari subjee, in salad only onion and green chilli and raitha is the combination. It will not be effective poori with paneer subjee. I do not know what is the difference between roti and chapati. Any how combination in food is quite essential. Then along with basmati rice, rajma, chole, dal fry etc are quite fascinating combination. For aaloo parota the combination is lemon, Hari mirchi picles, and raita with boondi.

I have eaten many times here. My advice to you. Don't fill up on aalu side dishes. There is unlimited roti/poori meals(rs 150 to 300)which is best to eat. The Gobi and/or bindi fry will be nice. Rice is good and curd is gooood. Some try the sweet here.

Well said Manoj. Madurai is very cost for food, its difficult to accomodate for middle class people. One humble request, now a days almost all the restaurants are trying to keep hygienic, but you said only this veg restaurant only hygiene. Pls avoid kind of words.

Manoj says rates are reasonable, he has reviewed many restaurants in Madurai, I am surprised to see how these rates are reasonable. I am from Madurai. Rs 500 for this Thali? with one time service curd, one time sweet, one time Paneer gravy, few are un limit this is too expensive and waste of money, there are many restaurants where you can get all un limit items in buffet for cheaper price good quality in Madurai Even in Madurai one has to speak in Hindi to a cook, that is the situation now. Tomato soup is watery. Tandoori panner has Tandori flavor?, yes everyone knows that and it is not going to have Biryani or Sambar flavor. It is simple and plain dish, hope it is good... Poori this is almost same in most of the restaurants no secret recipe or ingredients Just for the sake of reviewing on should not say that everything is great
