I spent whole last weekend making this hah what life.
25th day is the Joker's "birthday", so today was a perfect day to post this edit of my favorite incarnation of the Joker. Or the Jokers... John Doe anyways.
He is my 3rd favorite fictional character of all time and I'm so proud of him.
I've wanted to make this edit for so long. This is one of my favorite songs, and I remember listening to it after starting to play the game and the lyrics immediately reminded me of John (and Bruce bc I am trash).
He just wanted to be somebody (to Bruce, let's be honest) so badly -either a hero or a villain.

I like this version of the Joker, since John Doe feels more human. He is flawed, he is mad at times. But he has genuine feelings, and isn't a full blown psycho killing for kicks and giggles. Also the idea of a Joker and Batman duo working together instead of enemies is always a refreshing take. I mean, Batman' Bruce always being so serious and even edgy at times. While John Doe clowns around cracking jokes and being the comic releif makes them a good team.

What I love about telltale specifically with the Batman games and you can prevent two face from having a burnt face and John Doe from being Joker essentially making the Batman universe the safest and most wholesome

The lyrics fit so incredibly well, the timing of the clips are great and so are the transitions [the clips that made John/Joker just fade in and out of each other on a perfect angle are so cool, gave me the chills in a good way], the change of pacing/tone at the end really pulled at my heartstrings teared me up. Thank you for putting all this together, it's really lovely!!!

I'm.... blown away. I knew the song before watching this, but I'd previously seen it in a different context, so I knew this'd be good but wasn't quite aware just how perfectly the lyrics meshed with their story. AND THE VID ITSELF!!!! You made a truly amazing edit out of their scenes, fitting marvellously with the lyrics and just UGH. ALL THE FEELZ!! I want them to make up so badly it physically hurts knowing that won't happen ;-; (also I might or might not have been crying from 2:25 onwards)
