I just. The actuAL FUCK, /both/ of the finales were an actual masterpiece and the voice acting by Anthony and Troy brought me to tears SO MANY TIMES JALSDKFAJSK
so uh 'be loved by you' huh. HUH. WAS THAT LIKE THE CLOSEST THING TO CANON CONFIRMATION WE HAVE GOTTEN SO FAR BECAUSE I LEGIT SHOT UP OUT OF MY CHAIR AND GASPED SO HARD I STARTED CHOKING?
ALSO THAT ENDING LIKE - I'm so GRATEFUL that there was actually a good ending in there somewhere cause if my John set fire to a Bruce doll I would probably throw my xbox into the ocean. And I was content with the bat signal one until John THREW THE PICTURE FRAME LIKE KADSAKLDS OUCH???
The villain Bruce and John video will be out tomorrow! I stayed up all night to edit this and it's 7am and I am v much sleep deprived goODNIGHT TO JOHN AND BRUCE ONLY.

I love the ending of the vigilante when you admit he's your friend. There's something wholesome about Bruce's small smile when seeing John in Arkham.

I needed this after the last ep :( They better make a season 3!!!!!!! Anyway, the video is so beautiful and the lyrics fit in so perfectly and *AHHH* my poor heart ;_; thank you for this, and the fact that you will be making the villain version aswell!! That one is almost even more heartbreaking, especially the moment when Bruce looks so sad and says "You broke my heart, John..." CANNOT WAIT

Ok. so. I am at a loss for words. I havent seen the rest of ep 5's footage. But... But your video. Its just so..... beautiful. The emotions, THE EMOTIONS, man! You've captured them all so beautifully and your timing and editing???????? I am crying again?????? also???????? as well??????????? once more????????????????? why must you do this to me And also???? That final scene with John??????? The genuine happiness in his voice after seeing Bruce? And that face???? That FREAKING FACE!! Relief, adoration, joy, the way his eyes light up AND ALL OF THAT IN JUST A FEW BRIEFEST SECONDS. I AM SCREECHING, SCREAMING, CRYING!!! THIS KILLS THE MAN. I AM DECEASED. I AM GONE. DEAD AND BURIED 10 FEET UNDER. And you are to blame for that. Thank you. Never stop. Imma go cry in a corner now and wait for the episode to come out.

Yep! Contextual clues aside, both the voice actors and the creators have confirmed(?) it. Kent, the season director, commented on the 'are you in love with me' - '..........No' response as not being entirely truthful. Anthony Ingruber (voice actor for John Doe) did a recent interview where he revealed /his belief/ that John does view Bruce as a love interest: "Definitely as a love interest, "Ingruber responds when I ask him how Doe sees Bruce. "Well, more complicated, I guess. There’s an underlying genuine affection for Bruce but yeah, I see it more as Joker is the guy Bruce wants to be and it’s evident by episode five. There are parts in the game were John will throw himself over Bruce to save him, to save his life, so I do think he really loves him in a way. A sick, twisted way. But ultimately in a sad way too." 100% gay :)
