It's apparently slower to go out of your way to get it in runs. Very unfortunate. But it will be good for individual level runs.

In places like target and GameStop the switch kiosks have Mario wonder demo on them. You can only play the 1st 3 levels but that is more than enough for this amazing game. (One of the courses has a secret ending)

I believe (from what I’ve found out) that using drill will make it faster (I think). when you drill on a slope and pop out you get a lil boost. I dunno if this changes anything though and I haven’t heard anyone talk about it.
