"She Is A Haunting" has been on my radar for a while too. It just sounds very good but also like it will give me the creeps. *lol* Also OMG why have I never heard about "Idol, Burning" and "Y/N" they both sound very interesting. Bitterthorn sounds amazing! I've never read a sapphic gothic story before. The closest I came to reading one was Carmilla but it doesn't really feed the sapphics so this is EXCITING!!

I forget, have you read 'The Neapolitan Novels' by Elena Ferrante? Books in the series are My Brilliant Friend The Story of a New Name Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay The Story of the Lost Child (not to be confused with another book by Ferrante - The Lost Daughter) They've been adapted into a really good tv series (3 seasons so far, season 4's been confirmed), and the Lost Daughter was recently made into a movie. Another book of hers (I think The Lying Life of Adults) is also being adapted.
Such an amazing list and video ♥ ♥ ♥ I was excited for lies we sing to the sea but after reading that the (British) author has not read the original stories at all... I don't necess. think you need to, but if you are going to write about another country's (my country in this case) mythology (that your country has stolen from), I feel it would be something you should do.
Blood Debts was great! Just finished the arc ❤ I was so pleased to discover that it’s queer too! Also was able to get the arc of Gwen and Art Aren’t in Love and that was so great too! So many of my other most anticipated reads on this as well (Happy Place, Yellowface, Sun and the Star). Also, I would absolutely LOVE a shadowhunter reading vlog!!

I'm going to recommend ya Zachary Ying and the Dragon Emperor by Xiran Jay Zhao. It's middle grade urban fantasy, it's amazing, it's wild, I freaking LOVE the characters, and I think you'll like it, also did you read Daughter of the Deep by Uncle Rick? I just read an Arthurian retelling called Half Sick of Shadows which focuses on Arthur and his inner circle but especially the Lady of Shalott. It was amazing and it isn’t super popular but I have no idea why
I will be reading Legends and Lattes in March, so thank you for letting me know there is a prequel. I just ordered today because it dropped today and that's Shannon Chakraborty's new series that involves pirates and motherhood. Ever since I read the Davaebad trilogy and I have the companion book River of Silver, she's an auto-buy, technically thanks to you and your vlog. I also had to buy Roshani Chokshi's latest book The Last Flower Bride, I hope that's the title, I love her Pandava series, so it will be interesting to see how she writes for adults. The most anticipated won't happen until August 1st of this year, it's the final book in Rebecca Roanhorse's series Between Earth and Sky, it's called The Mirrored Heavens. I can't wait to return to that world and finally get a resolution of what's to come, so excited! I saw someone else mention Spy Family vol. 9 and I am excited for that too. Last time I checked they had vol. 11 out in Japan, so we are a tad behind because of translation. Vol. 10 should hopefully drop later this year as well.
My cozy fantasy recommendations are the Finding Home webcomic (which you can order physically through Kickstarter!), East by Edith Pattou, The Ruthless Lady's Guide to Wizardry by C M Waggoner (it's a bit more plot-heavy but the stakes are much lower than most fantasy still. the main character just wants a sugar mommy.), So This Is Ever After by F T Lukens, and anything by Terry Pratchett.
