No one does it like Jexus, and it still amazes me how much personnality he puts into these vids without ever talking. The sound design and the synths do all the talking and I approve !
3:00 Wolfsheim - Find You're Gone 80s/90s: 5:50 Mr. Mister - Broken Wings 6:44 Yazoo - Don't Go 7:28 The Prodigy - Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix) 11:38 my fav patch so far
I know for certain that I’m not the only one EAGERLY anticipating what this guru patch designer is about to pump out next. I find myself narrowing down possible guesses, like a personal mini game/hobby おたく in my head! I don’t think there will be anymore Korg vids this year. Nothing against Korg, they’ve done great. But, I’m thinking that Waldorf is about to get explored with the Jexus golden touch. Who knows? All that I do know, is that Jexus is someone to look up to in this sound exploration industry. Long live Jexus!
Oh Summit one day you will be mine .... one day . Kudos to Chris Hugget ( R.I.P. )for finally getting to realize his OSCar ASG and big ups to Novation for being smart enough to let him do it .
I'm 200 miles away from the nearest bombings. For the moment I'm ok, but with these Russian KGB gangsters behind the fence, who the fuck knows what tomorrow brings.
Dope sounds but what I really love is your melodies. Some of your chord changes are so unpredictable and surprising where it takes the ear. That first minimal one for instance is truly unique. Do you produce music by any chance?
Thanks I made some tracks, not a lot, but you can check them out here wcologarb.bandcamp.com/ or simply on my YT channel. My music comes under the name "WC Olo Garb".
Dear Jexus, i will be purchasing your patches again for this synth once ot arrives in January. Yes a kind of madness but i sold my Rev2 to explore this amazing beast. As firmare has been updated to you think you might give us another pack of patchs as the firmware opens new sonic possibilitys. Thanking you
It’s time for another return of the AudioSavior brain slapping drug fix!!! Will there be a unique soundbank set of another (more affordable) wavetable synth by the name of moDWave anytime soon?
@@Jexus (unfortunately, the leadership in that particular country is making some bad moves, please disregard the reference to the below message...) :^( the LFOstore just recently attempted an impersonation of you on their “cinematica” sound set of the moDWave. ...or did they...?
I’m glad that I didn’t buy from the LFOstore. Although I’m sure that there are some decent people from that country. Unfortunately for them, many people will not be willing to support anyone from there anytime soon. I sure hope that (Jexus) home country and others in that area, will come out of this horrible situation without things escalating anymore.
15:12 That bass is the 100 identical one from the Ultranova/MiniNova preset did you copy it? You must be using software to know all the correct parameters from UltraNova to move that synths sound onto the Peak.
After updating my Summit using Windows Components it shows ver 126.778 in the screen of Summit and in Components it says Summit is up to date running Vcustom build 2126 FPGA 778. Is this correct? or shud it say ver 2.2 in the Summit screen? I am confused.....help....thanks anyone
Interesting, on paper has better spec’s than the Prophet 8 REV2; was your REV 2 8 or 16 voices? I think I prefer te sequential sound better. The Novation seems cleaner but not necessarily analog “creamier” despite the higher oscillator count and more voices. Thanks for the sounds and the comparison JX
My REV-2 was 8-voice. If you like the sound of Prophets better then there's no other way but to buy a Prophet... but in terms of money (price:features), the Peak / Summit is a much better deal;)
@@Jexus You are the one that sold me the REV 2, but I been debating between 8 or 16 voices, after I saw this hack to make ithe REV2 Binaural a la DUO super 6, I’m definitely buying the 16 voices. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U8ur13KroFo.html Do you know if something like this can be done on the Peak/Summit? It would be great to hear a versus of the UDO Super 6 vs Prophet REV2 vs Summit all in binaural. Perhaps this is the inception idea for you to make a Binaural patch bank to Add to your collection
@@MeAlexSenna there's an option for a voice upgrade for rev2. I've upgrade mine not so long ago. You may try 8 and upgrade it to 16 when you need more voices.
No matter how many videos I make, you always get my full soundset when you pay 😎 There are no separate "volumes" of the soundpack, only the videos come in series because I don't want to make one 1-hour long video;)
How does one even make patches??? Is this done just by programming on the physical keyboard or is there some sort of program used to them export those settings? I’ve been a longtime viewer of your videos and have always been blown away!
I like the sounds and love all the knobs. The screen size is poor. I am going to praise my Yamaha MODX. Much bigger screen and a 16 track sequencer. It makes all those sounds as well.
