Beautiful, dark and inspiring sounds! I will be getting a Prologue 16 in about 2 weeks. When I do I will seek you out so I can get these downloaded on to my synth. Great work. I get tired of hearing the same old 80's presets. Thank you for going down a different, largely un-traveled path.

Ok, wow. At first I was like "ok, these are pretty good". Then the wailers patch with the video behind it............after that I started thinking even more about these patches and there theatrical value and I am very impressed my friend. Extremely well done!
I own a UDO Super 6 (and love it) but became very intrigued by the Prologue after seeing this. I know you demoed the Super 6, what’s yer preference overall? Or perhaps too different to compare?
The Super-6 is very intriguing too, but in a different way. It's a different kind of party, if you know what I mean. A very cultured, high-brow party of a group of VIPs where everybody's drinking good wine and chatting about good books. The Prologue is more like a group of long-time-no-see friends and a bunch of random people mixing together in a pub and drinking lots of liquor and some really weird & crazy stuff is starting to happen around midnight;) I like books, but when it comes to partying, my preference has always been for the second option😅
Hi Jexus, I’m seriously thinking of grabbing a prologue, but heard so much about issues with it and a few months ago I played with one at the shop and it did crash while I was playing it and was out of service for the rest of the day.. but every time I listen to it, I think it sounds so good and I loved it when I played with it!! What’s your take on the quality of it??
Build quality is 3/3. Firmware seems ok. Did it crash for no apparent reason or did you do something like clicking two buttons at once?;) My unit has been totally flawless. Maybe it's just a matter of which batch it comes from (the early batches were more half-baked).
I have a question, Just out of curiosity. Some of these patches somehow "lock" the knobs? Like on some of these patches even if i turn down all three oscilattors in the mixer i still hear the full patch, the cutoff knob does nothing literally no knobs do anything besides resonance. One im curious how you even did that, and two how to bypass it if possible. thanks sm!
Not sure, I would have to see that, but my 99% guess is your Prologue is handling one of the layers, but there is the second layer playing underneath and you are tweaking the first layer. To tweak the second layer you need to switch between MAIN and SUB (layer 1 = MAIN, layer 2 = SUB, or the other way around).
@@Jexus ahh yeah i kinda figured that out almost right after i posted this comment, but this also helps me further so thank you! I was so confused at first i was like "wait none of these knobs are doing anything are they?" and then turned all the oscillators off and was like WTF! Such a fun deep little synth. Not nearly as confusing as this prophet 08 i just found at a pawn shop tho oof
