In reality, Anakin only says the first 3-lines to Vader in-game and that’s it. I was disappointed with this so I actually went and put together some custom dialogue for them to sound more like a conversation, an emotional one at that. Thanks for your patience with this video guys, wanted to try to make their coversarion a little more special! How’d you like it?

His desire to save the ones he loved pushed him to the dark side in ROTS. When Luke was faced the same situation he refused to give into the dark side and this led to Anakin’s redemption. This is what I love about Star Wars, a father and son both faced the same situation but both made different decisions.

@@SokkaoftheWaterTribe His desire as well as the Jedi's idiocy drove him to the Dark Side. Essentially, the Jedi Order made it all too easy for Anakin to turn. Accusing his apprentice for a crime she didn't commit, not being open to new ideas, remaining stagnant and stodgy, the Jedi were practically asking him to join the Dark Side. They were all idiots except Qui-Gon and Dooku.

It's sad to see Anakin's reaction to see what he will become.. powerless to stop it. But as we all know his son, Luke Skywalker saved him. It's bittersweet, but that's how we like it. You can just hear the complete disgust and self hatred in his voice with the, “You brought this on yourself!” line. As if he has pure regret and hatred for the weakness and darkness within. Truly masterful voice acting. It’s even more satisfying when you consider how Anakin reacted when he learned of the future on Mortis.

It is so amazing, how the young Anakin wants to stay loyal to his Jedi ideals, turning up his tone of voice, talking more aggressively, but Vader just knows that he is inevitable, that's why he sounds so calm and cold, he will eventually rise. Every time I watch Anakin grow, on the prequels or Clone Wars, I always think that everything ended differently, even though he turns to the Dark Side, it's just....melancholic

It was indeed intentional, the 2008 series was originally inte6to be much shorter, so symbolism was far more on the nose.

Hearing the uncertainty, weakness, and immaturity in the voice of Anakin, vs the strength, power, and strong willed voice of Vader I think really emphasizes the transition of power that Anakin went through when he embraced the Dark Side.

The way Dooku fades out after his dialogue is done then Vader walks in, mixed with how Anakin reacts makes it look like a scene where Dooku uses the force to make Anakin see his future in order to unnerve him.

Are the Vader ones actually in game? I've never heard them actually have any banter... Anakin just says his lines on his own usually. Vader never tends to get involved.
