Why doesn’t my microphone work on it?

I got these exact same headphones for my birthday last month on the 19th. My first pair of bluetooth headphones lol. I love them. I usually have to charge them once every 1 week and 3-4 days on average.

I've had these headphones about three months...they seem pretty good. However, the top cushion has worn through, and the sponge is sticking out. I need to find a way to seal it up (hopefully without duct tape) and re-secure it. This isn't the large problem though. I use these either with my iPod Touch or with my desktop computer. Lately, I get the verbal message: "phone connected" and I get disconnected from my computer. I then decided to disconnect wi-fi (on my phone), and then shut OFF the phone. Well...I STILL get "phone connected", and it disconnects me from the computer. I unfortunately misplaced/lost the manual, so I'm at a loss as to how to remedy this! Any suggestions?!?

These headphones are definitely reallyyyy good. I bought a pair of Sony Noise Cancelling MDR-ZX110NC thinking id be saving a little money and getting nice sound. Somewhat the case. With the Sony, they do sound cheap but when you turn on the noise canceling, they sound like you've upgraded way beyond its worth. Downside, constant battery change for Noise cancel action. But with noise canceling, they deliver bass very well for some flimsy plastic headphones. The MPOWs deliver better. I compared them both. Bluetooth is sounds clear and crisp just not enough emphasis on bass, however if you use the jack, bass is perfect and comes through pretty clean and still maintains clear highs and mids and gives you that ear shake if you turn it to max. Lol returning those overpriced back Sony's for the MPOW's

Does the mic in the mpow 059 bluetooth headphones work with Skype?

My only complaint is these need soft buttons. When you push the buttons while wearing these, it will annoy the crap out of you. Otherwise all other aspects are awesome.

Would you choose these, the Ausdom, or Avantree wireless headphones over all?

Sounds are very balanced, but I the lack of bass is really sad though, I could've added another $35 for better sound quality headphones.But these headphones are $30-35 its kinda worth-it i guess? I bought this in Amazon.CA and they costed me $30.
