Class comp:
Tanks: Prot Warr (me), Blood DK (Bonanner)
Healers: Holy Priest (Blindd), Resto Druid (Maager), Resto Shaman (Borndespair)
DPS: Frost DK (Tigg), Fire Mage (Cronn), Ele Shaman x2 (Grootshamn and Awirvil), Shadow Priest (Bartho)
This is a "Four Horseman" style encounter, consisting of three bosses on separate platforms who each have their own distinct abilities. Much like 4H, your raid must keep at least one person on each platform at all times, or the boss will cast a raid wipe spell. Unlike 4H, the bosses must all die at the same time; to be specific, within one minute of each other. The best kill order is Anshal, then Nezir, then Rohash. DPS will need to switch platforms constantly according to certain raid events listed in more detail on our website. The bosses each have an energy bar that fills at 90. Once the bar fills, they use their "ultimate" ability. The "wind tunnels" that carry players from platform to platform shut down temporarily while the bosses uses these abilities.

Love it at the end you get launched off into the nothing between platforms. Looks to be rather enjoyable to do and I am quite excited to see Cataclysm get closer and closer.

Really happy that abilities like hungering cold and ring of frost are useful in a raid environment, a lot of people were saying they were pointless. The fight looks pretty cool, can't wait to see what crazy shit they pull out for al'akir. Thanks for the video!

@Ares42 The wind ramps deactivate when they reach about 85 Power (you can see some dps stuck on the life platform around 12:10)

@jokujunahi There is a lot more going on that you aren't taking into consideration. The boss position is crucial so that 1) Healers can switch platforms for the debuff 2) Anshal isn't sitting in his heal spot 3) DPS including melee can attack the boss without standing in A Bad Spot 4) Adds can be picked up 5) Sleet Storm and Zephyr can be dealt with. This isn't patchwerk. This fight is all about constant motion and if the healer can't keep up, they are bad.

@ngc2440ly Yeah, I had to squeeze one of those falling deaths in there somewhere. The wind streams that carry you around are buggy and kill you constantly. We had a bunch of wipes because of that.

@jokujunahi You have to constantly move while tanking these bosses. It's up to the healer to keep up.

@shardarific Only thing i can think of is that its in his consolidated buffs. The buff in the top right that says 7 has a 7 buffs grouped up. When the shaman recalled his totems at 6:43 the 7 changes to a 5. Could be wrong though idk XD

Superb video, love it. You mentioned a reason for dps to go stack on the north boss (blizzard) and the plant boss (kill the adds) but is there any point where they need to go stack on the other boss? (the east one I think)

Looks like the frost debuff gets applied while you're attacking the boss - I think it would drop off at the end of the blizzard if you stay away from the boss long enough to let it drop off.

U CAN SWITCH WITH TANKS, its hard but u must time it right. My guild did was pull the bosses near the wind bridges, once green guy pops adds u kill them ASAP once they r dead both tanks switch at the same time. If u do it correct ur healers wont be hurt and u still have aggro. We try to switch with frost guy between 8- 10 stacks otherwise yea were still working on it and r dps was kinda low but we got frost and air both near around 20% at the same time... Working on getting green guy down.

@jokujunahi Why does it matter if he moves from the healer? As long as he isn't LOS who cares - I like to jump on the spot if I get bored...doesn't do anything but keeps me awake

@TheJasontheman i was wondering the same thing man, apparently the cataclysm gear is packed full of stamina, a tank in mostly blues a couple greens maybe a few epics should have like 135k health idk tho i havent played in like 3 months lol ^^

Also, do the bosses recharge their energy at the same rate? So you can predict when the plants will spawn even if you're at the north boss? :))

Battles like this make me wonder if Blizzard creates these battles knowing they can be beat or if they just keep raising level (not knowing if they are beatable or not) to test the dedication of its user base. Either way...they are genius.

@Wrathinside I understand that, but just thinking that looking at the Beta bosses, there is a huge potential for DPS, but it's the switching between targets that lowers it, iirc in ICC as it is even moments off the boss and your dps can drop from 15 to 13k, things like that. And idd, you'll be stuck with all BiS gear, and the game's only really fun if you're gearing up, once fully geared like you said it's more of a showoff thing, but also good for raiding. And yeah, You are right there, sorry.
