No, when they say completely pen free. They mean like no battery and no charging. Is just a pen 😃

I love my small intuos wacom tablet, only it's a bit pricey.. I would only recommend it for average people that are looking for an upgrade, it will also do well for intermediate too

hi there. electrical hobbiest and tinkerer here. firstly, i discovered you quite by accident and i love your vids. :) and now, let's talk shop. it's quite possible that the pen does not have a battery. inductance (think wireless charging on mobile phones) has come a long way and if i were to hazard a guess i'd say there's probably a capacitor in the pen to make the buttons work, as well as coils in both the pen (receiver coil) and pad (transmitter coil) that keep the capacitor (which acts as a battery) charged. if this is the case, it would also explain why the pen feels lighter - batteries are pretty heavy, especially more expensive recargeable ones.

I have that mine is just wayyyyyyyyyy bigger😅

I just bought the tablet but I can't get the pen to work! I have a notebook HP and the driver and everything else installed just fine but the pen itself just refuses to work. I tried deleting and reinstalling everything too but that didn't really do much. Anyone else experience this? I tried looking around in settings to see if I could fiddle around with anything but didn't find anything there either. Please help!

i use a Wacom intuos tablet. i don’t travel, but i’d say it is good for it since it’s not that big. :))

I believe the pen is not charged because it is using a moving magnet. The power is in the tablet, not the pen.
