On the subject of haters, you’re right, the hate is not always about the person receiving the hate, sometimes it’s about the hater. Also, sometimes the hate comes from people we know, sometimes people pretending to be a supporter and so forth. Still when someone is spewing hate, which is anything that tears people down, or cast spells with their words or disempowers people, it’s because of the hate they have inside of themselves. Damn I had been a follower since 2009! Sad to see she's ditched the channel, but I think this video sums up why she left. Back in the day it wasn't as bad with the trolls, but now it's a whole new game. Not only get hate comments, very spiteful ones too, but can get doxxed quick and then your lively hood and even family can get harrassed. One thing to read a comment, another to have family members affected, and she has a daughter she needs to protect. The amount of the fear, hate, negativity can weigh super heavy, especially if you live with light, positive energy, and love. When in this space, you stop just truly enjoying the moment and just being, and then life and work get mixed up until feels there's no boundary. Also making videos is time consuming and her daughter is growing up and needs her mom to help navigate this world, and she also has a husband to spend quality time with, and also her own mind and time to reflect on herself. I'm glad she left the channel open, videos up to rewatch, and I wish nothing but the best for her and her family! I'm also glad she took the time out of her life to think about others and give the advice and tips and creativity. I found her in a time of my life that I needed an escape and nail art was what I found and her channel was one of the first ones I subscribed to. Que te vaya bien Raquel!

Your approach is wise and practical. I think that it's great advice for RU-vid channel owners. I need to explore further how you respond to negative behavior in person. It's admirable that at the tender age of 13 that you were able to not respond in kind to your friend's aggression and provide her with the positive role model that she lacked at home. I have some questions and thoughts about how you cope with bullying behavior in person: 1. Does being assertive and setting respectful boundaries towards negative behavior ever enter into your thinking? 2. Does your response change when a friend of yours is being bullied and they don't have your resiliency and self confidence? I think about how to respond to negativity often. It's easier for me to take the high road and not respond in kind when I am attacked. When others are attacked, especially when they are more vulnerable, I feel obligated to defend them which means that I try to diffuse conflicts tactfully. The aggressor needs to know that their behavior is not acceptable. If I fail to act, then I may be enabling them to harm others. It's very important to state that I take into account physical safety and whether or not my intervention might cause the conflict to escalate dangerously. Determining how to respond, if at all, can be very situational. 3. Is your friend still mired in negativity? Did she ever learn how to connect positively with people?

Raquel, I just love your personality! You have such a kind heart and so much wisdom. Yes, you're right, there are always going to be haters out there who are full of bitterness, venom and hostility...but those people really are to be pitied because they wasn't born that way.....something had to have happened in their lives that has caused them to be this way. I'm the same way with nasty people.....I just wish them well and move on with my life. 🤗🌸

You are a much stronger woman than I am. I had a friend like your friend in early elementary school and I quit being her friend because I got tired of trying to help her be positive. I’ve done the same thing in life ever since once I really couldn’t stand a person anymore. I cut them out and never let them back in. I reckon I need to work on my grace muscles a bit more.
