Today I will show you how to crochet penguin with different hats (bear, frog, rabbit and some fruits) 𖹭
This is not only cute but also perfect for Christmas gifts (A must Winter Crochet Project)

Materials I used : - 4 ply milk cotton yarn with black label (grey, white, black) - 5 ply milk cotton with blue label (for hats) -3.5 mm crochet hook -5 mm eyes and glue -stitch markers -stuffing -needle and scissors ♡ I was talking with the congested nose the whole time. So, I'm really sorry if some words are unclear 😅💗

round 1: 6 sc in MR (6) round 2: 6 sc increases (12) round 3: 1sc, inc *6 (18) round 4: 2sc, inc *6 (24) round 5: 3sc, inc *6 (30) round 6: sc in each stitch - (b15, w2, b3, w2, b8) (30) round 7: sc in each stitch - (b14, w4, b1, w4, b7) (30) round 8: repeat round 7 round 9: sc in each stitch - (b13, w11, b6) round 10-11: repeat round 9 change yarns to grey (optional) round 12-20: sc in each stitch (30) attatch safety eyes between round 9 and 10 round 21: 3sc, dec *6 (24) round 22: 2sc, dec *6 (18) round 23: 1sc, dec *6 (12) round 24: 6dec (6) cut yarn and sew hole shut wings (2) round 1: 4sc in MR (4) round 2: 4inc (8) round 3-5: sc all round cut yarn and leave tail for sewing beak: round 1: 5sc in MR and sl st into first sc cut yarn and leave tail for sewing hat: round 1-5: same as 1-5 of the head mark the stitch opposite to stitch on your hook round 6: chain 1 and sc until you reach the other stitch marker make 7-8 more rows of sc on that row of sc make 14 chains, sl st into opposite side ch1 and turn sc along chain sl st and fasten off ears: round 1: 6sc in MR round 2: sc, inc *3 (9) round 3-6: 9 if you want to make the bear ears, stop at round 3 cut yarn and sew pieces on

If the hat is too small for the penguin, I made a slightly larger pattern: round 1: 7 sc in MR (7) round 2: 7 sc increases (14) round 3: 1sc, inc *7 (21) round 4: 2sc, inc *7 (28) round 5: 3sc, inc *7 (35) round 6-9 : sc in each stitch (35) mark the stitch opposite to stitch on your hook round 10: chain 1 and sc until you reach the other stitch marker make 4-6more rows of sc on that row of sc (+chain at end) make 16 chains, sl st into opposite side ch1 and turn sc along chain sl st and fasten off Ears are the same

@@bernicegonzalez6945 start with a magic ring and make 6 sc into the ring, tight the yarn and continue to crochet 3 more rows (so it'll be 4 rows in total and 6 sc for each row). Cut the yarn, put it aside, start another one but this time you need to make 6 rows, after finishing the 6th row, you attach the first one with a ss and you continue the 7th row, which will be a row of 12 sc. R8 : (dec, 4 sc) twice. R9: dec, 8 sc. R10: 9 sc. That's it!

I think it's sportsyarn or wrosted weight. But still you can use any kinds of yarn with its appropriate hook ♡
