Love the videos. :) Yeah in case anyone wants to know one of those alternative sticker outline methods: - alpha lock the sticker layer - duplicate the layer and add 5% Gaussian Blur - colour fill the layer with white
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 🥰 and yes - it’s giving it that element of feeling organic! Maybe I should try some traditional drawing now and then too 😆
I am so thankful I found you, you are the only person who give these tips for free.. and I did not find programs for sticker sheets like that. I would buy a program from you.
Many thanks for this detailed video. I have a question: although the color of my drawings is very vivid and saturated in procrate, when I print them out, they become very pale and open. I tried a lot of papers, always the same problem. a setting for it do you have it in the app? Did you make a video for that too? Or what is your suggestion? There is no problem with my printer, it prints very well at other times.
Hi there! So it could be that you’re drawing on an RGB canvas, but your printer prints in CMYK (most printers do, including manufacturers). My set up is the same. What I do to fix this problem as best I can, is upload my sticker sheet (or art print etc) to photoshop, and create the canvas with the settings in CMYK. Then I’ll have a true match on screen of what it will look like. I then up the saturation and tweak it to get it as close as possible. Tbh, I can never get it looking as good as RGB, but with the premium sticker paper I use, I don’t actually need to even do this step - the colours come out so bright and saturated that I don’t notice the difference, so it could also be down to paper choice. I use premium waterproof sticker paper from evergreen goods. You can also create a CMYK canvas on procreate, so if you don’t have photoshop then follow the same steps. To do this, go to settings when you create a canvas, colour profile and change to CMYK. You should notice that the colours look a bit duller than an RGB canvas. It’s annoying, but at least you can choose colours more appropriate to how you want them to look! I’ll defo add this to my list of videos to make, but meanwhile - RU-vid how to make RGB look like CMKY and I think you’ll find some tips! That’s the thing I think it’s happening, hope that helps!
@@fizzandflourish I checked and all of my canvases are in RGB. I 'll try CMYK. I believe this will solve my problem. You have been very helpful. Heartfelt thanks.
