I love the wispy strokes of Zero's hair on the right. And the depth that the strand of hair in front of Sweet's earring gives. Basically I'm in love with the way you draw hair.

I love looking at pieces with screen tone! Both done by hand and digitally it really adds a very interesting touch and makes it feel more like comics. Your sketches look great as always! ❤

I think it's funny when you mention a traditional Renaissance because I've been digital almost 100% exclusively for years and in the last few months have started to make plans to return to using traditional mediums. This past weekend I even went and organized some old supplies.

really loving how you did the brush strokes for the hair. Yep, I too am going back to traditional media since I work digital for clients. Love the manga tones, had some old ones myself and giving them a test run

They're trying to protect intellectual property. At the end of the day, all the information they're funneling in to the AI is someone else's art. It just gets sticky, when so many people put their intellectual property online, and make it public. AI, in my opinion, can never duplicate the mind, heart, and soul of an artist. The variables are infinite.

🫀🫀🫀 so beautiful. The screen tones look awesome in physical. The pen and brush ink strokes are so fluid and natural! Personally, I like doing digital art because my style is dirty and chaotic, like strobing grunge. I use a lot of distortions, blurs and overlays, then photograph my digital art with my phone and mess with the photo editing. In that way, mine is sort of like mixed media too! I like taking a photo of a monochrome art I did and turning the saturation all the way up to reveal hidden colours! It's so cool that it feels like cheating!

I love the way you ink, your line weight is so on point. It makes me want to get back into using my nibs, I recently bought more ink so that I can do more pieces. But right now I'm in the market for the right paper so that it doesn't feather as well. Maybe bristol board? As for the AI discussion, I think I left a comment on your last video with my thoughts. I may still make a video about it. But also, I'm not so sure that I trust what Karla has to say after her favoring NFTs last year...I'm not sure that her stance has changed on it. But I'm pretty practical in the view that none of this technology is especially useful for us so much as it is to turn a profit. At the end of the day it still feels like artists are on the bottom rung of the ladder chasing scraps. I'm glad there's a movement to get some regulation on all this, though. There is a feeling that I'm wanting to return to traditional work as well. It grounds me.

The unique way the hair is braided at the roots then flows out into a cascade is very nice! I’m not the best at making my braids look ✨aesthetically pleasing✨ so this gives me a little bit to study and sortve experiment with in my own style. Thank you for the good study reference!!

I've always felt that it be advantages to master or at least be well versed in several mediums. Qethwr it be ink , painting. Digital or traditional, it helps an artist to be good at both. It is fine to have a preference tho. Even still, i prefer traditional over general when working, the tactile feel and the control just suit me and my styles better. I have plenty of pieces in digital i adore tho. So I get it.

I love traditional mediums but the way it's been said with AI rising and all, I feel more obligated to try to go back to traditional, which kinda sucks for me a bit, cause I normally can't afford a lot of the materials, as well as me doing a comic I need the digital aspect of it to get it done a bit more efficiently. I might just stick to just doing individual pieces but then there's the fear of misusing the little bit of materials that I have. Gosh I really dislike how AI messed up almost everything.

Your art is amazing, your voiceover is talented. I hope I can learn to do art and especially voiceover like you. I'm just a beginner... Still finding which type RU-vid art video should I make. My art was not making any impact on my viewers. I wanted to help my viewers enjoy my videos but I don't know how to. Hope to see more artwork from you. Thank you. God bless.

Honesty, I have been thinking about how I will do my graphic novel which is going to be manga. Should I do it traditional or digital. With both I'll have to practice more but digital using clip studio paint will help me out a little more especially with materials.

I much prefer traditional art. A computer just runs data. Digital art, while cool, does not have the soul of traditional. I've never seen a piece of digital art make me feel a quarter of what seeing traditional art does. The MFA in Boston has had the world's most famous traditional works in it, at one point or another. From paintings to sculptures to clothing to stone work... You can't get.... lost in digital art. At least, I can't. We had the entirety of Monets works at the museum two summers ago. I could have stared into any one of them forever. The painting, composition, texture, history... I just. It's the humanity that is inherently attached to every piece of traditional art ever created.
@keepyourshoesathedoor
@keepyourshoesathedoor Год назад
Yeah, *you* can’t get lost. That’s interesting that you say that when this artist has plenty of digital art pieces on their channel that are the same quality as her traditional pieces.

Personally, I love digital. As well as traditional. Both take time and effort to learn.
